Leopold Leonardus Petronella van Asten (born 19 October 1976 in Venray) is a Dutch show jumping equestrian.
Van Asten represented the Netherlands at the 2004 Summer Olympics where he took part in the individual jumping competition and the show jumping team event, alongside Gerco Schröder, Wim Schröder and Gert-Jan Bruggink. As an individual, on his horse Joel, Van Asten reached the final where he ended on the 30th position. With the Dutch show jumping team he finished fourth with a total of 24 penalty points.

Cian O'Connor is an Irish equestrian who competes in show jumping. He has competed at three Olympic Games, four World Championships and six European Championships, and has attained 133 senior caps for his country. He won an individual bronze medal at the London Olympic Games 2012 and was a member of the Irish team that took a gold medal at the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2017. O’Connor also won a bronze individual medal at the latter event. At the Tokyo Summer Olympics, Cian and his Irish-bred mount Susan Magnier’s Irish bred Kilkenny finished seventh in the individual class.
Theodora Elisabeth Gerarda "Anky" van Grunsven is a Dutch dressage champion who is the only rider to record three successive Olympic wins in the same event. Along with her Olympic successes, she has won numerous medals at the World Equestrian Games (WEG), and is the only rider to have competed at every WEG since they began in 1990. Between 1990 and 2006, she competed at the Games in dressage, but in 2010 she was named as part of the Dutch reining team, marking a major change in discipline.

Gestion Bonfire, or Bonfire for short, was an Oldenburg gelding that competed in dressage with Dutch rider Anky van Grunsven. Between 1991 and 2000, the pair competed in multiple national and international championships, including three Olympic Games and two World Equestrian Games. They won one gold medal and four silver medals at the Olympics and one gold and three silvers at the World Equestrian Games. Although known for having a hot temperament, Bonfire mellowed as he aged, becoming one of Van Grunsven's best horses – until she found his replacement, Salinero, she did not think she would ever find a horse to match Bonfire's talent. A statue of Bonfire stands in Van Grunsven's home town of Erp.
Maikel van der Vleuten is a Dutch show jumping rider. He was born in Geldrop. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where he won a silver medal in team jumping and finished 37th in the individual.

He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he finished 28th in the individual competition with the horse Grand Cru van de Rozenberg. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, having finished 13th in the Individual jumping, he was a member of the Belgian team in the team jumping competition which his team, composed of Devos and Wathelet, finished in third place, giving Belgium its first equestrian medal since the 1976 Summer Olympics.
