Lester Towns (born August 28, 1977) is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC), a position he has held since 2019. Towns played professionally as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. He graduated from Pasadena High School in Pasadena, California in 1995,[ citation needed ] and subsequently played college football at the University of Washington. [1] Towns was selected by the Panthers in the seventh round of 2000 NFL draft. [2]
