The National Action Party is a conservative political party in Mexico founded in 1939. The party is one of the four main political parties in Mexico,and,since the 1980s,has had success winning local,state,and national elections.

In the 2012 Legislative elections,the party took 34 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and nine seats in the Senate. She was a member of the Dominican Republic national team that won fifth place in the 2012 Summer Olympics,while she was named the tournament's Best Libero. Ximena Puente de la Mora is a Mexican lawyer,academic,and researcher who will serve as a proportional representation federal deputy in the LXIV Legislature of the Mexican Congress. Prior to being a federal deputy,she was a commissioner of the Federal Institute of Information Access from 2014 to 2016. After the General Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information took effect,this became the National Institute of Transparency,Information Access,and Personal Data Protection,of which she remained president through 2017 and commissioner through March 2018. Miss Mexico 2019 was the 3rd edition of the Miss Mexico pageant,held on Friday September 20,2019 at the Desert of the Lions National Park in Cuajimalpa de Morelos,Mexico City,Mexico. The winner was Ashley Alvídrez Estrada of Chihuahua and she represented Mexico in Miss World 2019. Alvídrez Estrada was crowned by outgoing titleholder Vanessa Ponce de León,who is also Miss World 2018.
