Lewis Henry Clarke Stevenson (born 1 June 1984) [1] is an Irish rugby union footballer. He previously played for the Ulster, Exeter Chiefs and Harlequins. [2] He currently plays for Connacht in the Pro14 as a lock.
Stevenson grew up outside a small village called Ballynure, approximately 12 miles from Belfast. He attended Ballynure Primary school until attending Ballyclare High School. From year 8, Stevenson then started playing rugby. Stevenson then made the Medallion XV rugby squad as a replacement, despite being a year too young to normally play. That year the team reached the semi-final where they lost to Regent House (the eventual champions). The next year he played again for the Medallion XV where he and fellow team members won the Medallion Plate that year against Larne Grammar.[ citation needed ]
Nicholas John Evans is a New Zealand former rugby union player. He played at fly-half and fullback. He played for the Highlanders and the Blues in Super 14. At 28 he joined Harlequins for the 2008–09 Premiership Rugby season, and remained with the club until his retirement on a deal reportedly worth £320,000 a year. He retired at the end of the 2016–17 season and is now a coach for Quins.

The 2019–20 season was Ulster's 26th season since the advent of professionalism in rugby union, and Dan McFarland's second season as head coach. Lock Iain Henderson was named captain in place of retired hooker Rory Best. They competed in the Pro14 and the European Rugby Champions Cup. Both competitions were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, he later stages being played in August, September and October 2020. In the Pro14, Ulster finished second in Conference A, making the playoffs and qualifying for next season's Champions Cup. They beat Edinburgh in the semi-final, but lost to Leinster in the final. They finished second in Pool 3 in the Champions Cup, qualifying for the quarter-finals, where they were beaten by Toulouse.
The 2001–02 season was Ulster Rugby's seventh under professionalism, and their first under head coach Alan Solomons. They competed in the Heineken Cup, the IRFU Interprovincial Championship, and the inaugural Celtic League. Flanker Andy Ward was captain.
