Alexandra "Lexi" Bender (born July 22, 1993) is an American professional ice hockey player for the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).
During college, Bender played in the NCAA for Boston College in the women's ice hockey team. [1]
Bender was drafted 15th overall in the 2015 NWHL draft by the Boston Pride. In 2016, Bender signed a one-year, $10,000 contract to play for the Boston Pride in the 2016/17 season. [2] Bender appeared in all 17 regular season games for the franchise, and two postseason games. [3]
On May 23, 2017, it was announced that Bender had re-signed to play with the Boston Pride for their 2017/18 season. [4] Bender participated in the 3rd NWHL All-Star Game. [5]
Alexandra Carpenter is an American ice hockey player, currently serving as captain of the KRS Vanke Rays in the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL). The first player drafted into the National Women's Hockey League in 2015, she won a silver medal with the 2014 United States Olympic team, won the 2015 Patty Kazmaier Award, and was named ZhHL MVP in 2020.
Brittany "The Otter" Ott is an American professional ice hockey player. As of 2021, Ott plays for the New Hampshire region team in the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association. She previously played two seasons for the Boston Blades in the Canadian Women's Hockey League and four seasons with Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). Ott played college hockey for the Maine Black Bears before declaring herself into the 2013 CWHL Draft. She is the first goaltender to have won the Clarkson Cup and the Isobel Cup in a career.
Zoe Hickel is an American ice hockey player who currently serves as assistant coach to the Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey program. She most recently played with Linköping HC of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) in the 2019–20 season. Hickel played collegiate ice hockey with the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs program, a member of the NCAA Division I. She competed with the United States national women's ice hockey team at the 2015 IIHF Women's World Championship. In 2015 Zoe Hickel joined the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).
Janine Weber is an Austrian professional ice hockey player. Weber currently is a member of the Connecticut Whale of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She previously played for the Boston Pride, the New York Riveters and the Canadian Women's Hockey League's Boston Blades. With the Blades, Weber scored the goal game-winning goal of the 2015 Clarkson Cup. In addition to her American hockey experience, she is also a member of the Austria women's national ice hockey team.

They won the inaugural Isobel Cup in 2016 and were first NWHL team to win two titles when they won in 2021.

The team was established in 2015 as one of the four founding franchises of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), now known as the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). They play at Northtown Center in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst. The team played at Harborcenter in downtown Buffalo for their first four seasons. The team has advanced to the Isobel Cup Finals in the NWHL's first four seasons, winning in 2016–17.

The third-longest tenured player and leading scorer among defenders in NWHL history, she was the first Canadian player to sign a contract in the league, is a three-time NWHL all-star, and was named NWHL Defender of the Year in 2020. She was also a member of the Boston Pride roster that captured the 2021 Isobel Cup. Previous to the joining the NWHL, she won the Clarkson Cup in 2015 and was the first girl to play boys' midget AAA hockey in British Columbia.
