Leya, stylized as LEYA, is the New York based collaboration of harpist Marilu Donovan and violin/vocalist Adam Markiewicz. [1]
LEYA have released two full-length albums. The Fool (2018) and Flood Dream (2020) were released on New York-based label NNA Tapes. [2] [3]
LEYA's work has earned acclaim from notable publications including Pitchfork, Document Journal, i-D, Noisey, and The New York Times. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] Reviewing their second album for Pitchfork, contributor Jonathan Williger described the project: "The duo traverses the art world and DIY noise scenes, and their music revels in the tension between elegance and disquiet, subverting the stereotypes associated with their chosen instruments. It can sound equally gorgeous or unsettling, depending on mindset and circumstance; it asks more questions than it answers." [3]
In 2018, the group wrote and performed a full-length soundtrack to "I Love You," a PornHub-produced erotic film directed by American rapper Brooke Candy that also features the duo as actors. [9] [10] In 2019, LEYA released Angel Lust, a collaborative EP with Eartheater via PAN. [11] In 2022, LEYA released a collaborative mixtape project called Eyeline, which featured contributions from Julie Byrne, Eartheater, Okay Kaya, Actress, Claire Rousay, James K, Deli Girls, Sunk Heaven, and Martha Skye Murphy. LEYA have collaborated with fashion labels including Louis Vuitton, Acne Studios, Hood by Air, and CFDA Emerging Artist Winner Elena Velez. [24] In visual art they have worked on a number of projects ranging from scoring work to a number of public art installations around the US. [25]

Drew McDowall is a Scottish NYC based composer and musician. He was a member of Coil in the 1990’s contributing heavily to some of their most respected and influential works. As well as his solo work he has collaborated with Kali Malone, Caterina Barbieri, Robert Aki Aubrey Lowe, Hiro Kone, Varg, Puce Mary, Shapednoise and Rabit.

Liturgy is an American black metal band from Brooklyn, New York. The band features Haela Hunt-Hendrix, Mario Miron (guitar), Tia Vincent-Clark (bass) and Leo Didkovsky (drums). The band have described their music as "transcendental black metal," which was especially described in a manifesto written by Hunt-Hendrix; in the process of transforming their style of black metal, they have experimented with other genres including progressive rock, hip hop and electronic music. In the band's early days, Hunt-Hendrix expressed her interest in the work of Swans, Glenn Branca, Rhys Chatham, La Monte Young and Lightning Bolt as influences.

Salvador Navarrete, better known by his stage name Sega Bodega, is an Irish-Chilean music producer, singer, songwriter, DJ and co-head/founder of record label and collective Nuxxe. Sega Bodega is known for his futuristic, bass-heavy and leftfield takes on electronic and club music, fusing various elements of UK bass and hip-hop music, deconstructed club, and trip hop music into his songs. He rose to prominence producing tracks for London-based rapper, co-founder of the Nuxxe label and close collaborator Shygirl, gaining attention from the likes of Rihanna, using various Nuxxe tracks for her Fenty Beauty commercials and fashion shows. Sega Bodega released various EPs before releasing his debut album, Salvador, in 2020, and his second album, Romeo, in 2021.
Blane Muise, better known by her stage name Shygirl, is an English singer, DJ, rapper, songwriter and co-head/founder of record label and collective Nuxxe. Shygirl's music incorporates elements of dance music, hip-hop, experimental pop, grime and deconstructed club. She has also been associated with the hyperpop music scene. Shygirl rose to prominence after working with close collaborator and friend Sega Bodega, as well as other well-known experimental producers Arca and Sophie, and gaining attention from the likes of Rihanna, who has used various Nuxxe tracks for her Fenty Beauty commercials and fashion shows. Shygirl has released various singles since 2016, and three EPs titled Cruel Practice, Alias and Club Shy. Her debut studio album Nymph was released on 30 September 2022 to widespread acclaim from music critics.
