Li Weichun is a paralympic athlete from China competing mainly in category T/F35 javelin and sprint events.
Li competed in the javelin and 100m at the 2004 Summer Paralympics winning the bronze medal in the later. [1]
China was the host of the 2008 Summer Paralympics, held in Beijing. China's delegation included 547 people, of whom 332 were competitors. The athletes, 197 men and 135 women, ranged in age from 15 to 51 and competed in all twenty sports. 226 of the competitors participated in the Paralympic Games for the first time. The delegation was the largest in Chinese history and at the 2008 Games. China topped the medal count at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens. China dominated the medal count winning the most gold, silver, bronze, and total medals by a wide margin in Beijing.
Chinese Taipei competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia. The country took a gold medal won by Chiang Chih Chung in the men's F13 javelin throw event. Chih threw a distance of 57.28 metres to win the competition and broke the world record in the process. The Chinese Taipei team also won two silvers and two bronze medals in table tennis.
Vanuatu first competed at the Summer Paralympic Games in 2000, sending two athletes to compete in javelin events. The country was absent from the 2004 Games, returning to the Paralympics in 2008. Vanuatu has never taken part in the Winter Paralympic Games, and no ni-Vanuatu athlete has ever won a Paralympic medal.

Li Duan is a blind Chinese Paralympic athlete competing mainly in F11 jumping events. He became blind after an explosion on 11 September 1996. Before that, he was a professional basketball player who played for the Chinese Basketball Association team Shenyang Army during the 1995–96 CBA season.
The Philippines competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney. The country was represented by two athletes: Andres Lubin in the men's javelin, and Adeline Dumapong in women's powerlifting, in the up to 82.5 kg category.
Uganda sent a delegation to compete at the 1976 Summer Paralympics in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The country entered only one athlete, who competed in athletics. He did not win a medal.
Namibia made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona. These were the first Summer Paralympics to be held since the country's accession to independence from South Africa in 1990, and thus the first Games in which Namibia was able to take part. For its inaugural participation, the country sent just two athletes, both women, who both competed in discus, javelin and shot put. They did not win any medals.
Cape Verde made its Paralympic Games début at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, with two competitors in track and field, and one in powerlifting. The country sent a single athlete to the 2008 Games, to compete in the women's shot put, discus and javelin.
Puerto Rico made its Paralympic Games début at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul, with a delegation of twelve competitors in archery, athletics, shooting and table tennis. It has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics. The country is set to first compete at the Winter Paralympics in 2022.
Myanmar has been a sporadic participant in the Paralympic Games. It first competed, as Burma, at the 1976 Summer Paralympics in Toronto, with a delegation in track and field and shooting. These athletes were fairly successful, Tin Ngwe becoming Burma's first Paralympic champion by winning the men's 100m sprint in the C1 category. Aung Than won silver in the same event, while Tin Win took bronze in the men's 100m in category C. Burma was absent from the 1980 Games, returning in 1984 to take part in volleyball and track and field. Tin Ngwe, in category A3, won gold in the men's high jump, and silver in the long jump, while Aung Gyi won silver and bronze, respectively, in those same two events. In both Burma's appearances in the Paralympics, it fielded all-male delegations.
Austria competed at the 1968 Summer Paralympics in Tel Aviv, Israel from November 4 to 13, 1968. The team finished fifteenth in the medal table and won a total of nineteen medals; two gold, seven silver and ten bronze. Thirty-one Austrian athletes competed at the Games; nineteen men and twelve women.
Martina Monika Willing is a Paralympic athlete from Germany competing in field events. She is both blind and paraplegic. Until 1994 she competed in the F11 classification for vision impaired athletes; following her paralysis, she returned to competition as a seated thrower. Willing has competed and medalled in eight Paralympic Games – all seven summer games from 1992 in Barcelona to 2016 in Rio as well as at the 1994 winter games in Lillehammer. Complications during knee surgery following a fall at the Lillehammer Paralympics led to her paralysis.
Wu Qing is a Paralympic athlete from China competing in throwing events in the F36 cerebral palsy classification. As of April 2014, Wu holds F36 World Records for shot put, discus and javelin.
Shirlene Coelho is a Paralympian athlete. She competed in the T37 javelin throw, discus throw and shot put at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Paralympics. At the 2016 Rio Paralympic games, she won a gold medal in Women's Javelin F37 and won a silver medal in Women's Discus Throw F38. At the 2012 London Paralympic games, she won a gold medal at the Women's Javelin F37/38 event. At the 2008 Beijing Paralympic games, she won a silver medal at the Women's Javelin F35-38.
Guo Wei is a Chinese Paralympic athlete competing mainly in category F35 field events.
Natalia Goudkova is a Paralympian athlete from Russia competing mainly in category F46 throwing events.
Thierry Cibone is a Paralympic athlete competing in throwing events. He lives in New Caledonia and represents France in international competition. He has cerebral palsy.
Bil Marinkovic is a blind Paralympic athlete from Austria who competes mostly in throwing events.
Chen Li Ping is a paralympic athlete from China competing mainly in category F54/55 throwing events.
