Linas Kukuraitis (born 22 May 1978) [1] is a Lithuanian politician. He served as Minister of Social Security and Labour in the Skvernelis Cabinet led by Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis from 13 December 2016 to 11 December 2020. [2]
In 2021,Kukuraitis left his former party,the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union,and joined Union of Democrats "For Lithuania",a new party established by himself and Skvernelis. [3]

The Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union is a green-conservative and agrarian political party in Lithuania led by Ramūnas Karbauskis. The party is considered one of the main representatives of the left wing of Lithuanian politics. Lithuanian journalist Virgis Valentinavicius described the party as "the mixture of the extreme left in economic matters and the extreme right in some social issues,all spiced up with an anti-establishment rhetoric of radical change".

Algirdas Butkevičius is a Lithuanian politician and was Prime Minister of Lithuania,serving between 2012 and 2016.
