Lionnis Salazar Rubiera (born 25 July 1997) is a Cuban male volleyball player. He is part of the Cuba men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Santiago de Cuba. [1]
Volleyball is a popular team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964.
The Cuba men's national volleyball team is the national team of Cuba. Cuba in the 1976 Summer Olympics won the bronze medal. Other achievements of the team winning one World League, one World Grand Champions Cup and fifteen NORCECA Championships. Cuba have attained two silver and two bronze World Championship medals and have won the NORCECA Championship 15 times.
