Liquid Zen is a contemporary musician active in the genres of electronica and ambient music. Operating out of San Antonio, Texas, Liquid Zen is essentially Roland St. John Perez, who plays synthesizers, bass, guitars and programs electronic machines and other instruments as well as sings vocals. Liquid Zen cites a wide range of influences for his music, including Brian Eno, Bent, and Ennio Morricone. St. John Perez also formed his own independent record label, Seventy Three Records, to release music by Liquid Zen and other artists.

Drum and bass is a genre of electronic music characterised by fast breakbeats with heavy bass and sub-bass lines, sampled sources, and synthesizers. The music grew out of breakbeat hardcore. The popularity of drum and bass at its commercial peak ran parallel to several other homegrown dance styles in the UK. A major influence was the original Jamaican dub and reggae sound. Another feature of the style is the complex syncopation of the drum tracks' breakbeat.
Mixmaster Morris is an English ambient DJ and underground musician. Famous for his, "It's time to lie down and be counted" quote, relating specifically to ambient music, Morris stated "It's exactly what you need if you have a busy and stressful life".
Ambient music is a genre of music that emphasizes tone and atmosphere over traditional musical structure or rhythm. A form of instrumental music, it may lack net composition, beat, or structured melody. It uses textural layers of sound which can reward both passive and active listening and encourage a sense of calm or contemplation. The genre is said to evoke an "atmospheric", "visual", or "unobtrusive" quality. Nature soundscapes may be included, and the sounds of acoustic instruments such as the piano, strings and flute may be emulated through a synthesizer.

Scott Sturgis is an America, Seattle-based record producer, best known for his power noise/rhythmic noise project Converter. The harsh and distorted sounds of Converter were influenced by noise music and artists featured on the Ant-Zen record label. He has since released material on both Ant-Zen and its imprint label Hymen Records.
Liquid funk, liquid drum & bass, liquid DnB, liquid or sometimes just melodic drum & bass is a subgenre of drum and bass. While it uses similar basslines and bar layouts to other styles, it contains fewer bar-oriented samples and more instrumental layers, harmonies, melodies and ambiance, producing a sentimental atmosphere directed at home listeners as well as nightclub and rave audiences. Music genres such as jazz, soul and sometimes blues have a pivotal influence on liquid funk.
Power noise is a form of industrial music and a fusion of noise music and various styles of electronic dance music. It should not be confused with "power electronics", which is not influenced by electronic dance music and is closer to harsh noise. Its origins are predominantly European.

John Sellekaers is a Canadian-born musician and audio mastering engineer. Born in 1973 in Montreal (Quebec) he later moved to Brussels (Belgium). John has released over 40 records under various aliases on labels such as Ant-Zen, Hymen Records, Nova Zembla and Disques Hushush. His style range from experimental music to electronica.
Tales of Ephidrina is an ambient/techno album by electronica artists Amorphous Androgynous, better known as The Future Sound of London (FSOL), which was released in 1993. It was created from material the pair had been working on around the same time as their ambient FSOL title Lifeforms, while still containing some of the techno feel of Accelerator.
Alix Depauw, better known by the stage name Alix Perez, is a drum and bass DJ and producer, originally from Charleroi, Belgium. Based in North London, his music is sometimes characterised as liquid funk amongst other labels, and released on labels such as Liquid V, Bassbin, Creative Source, Horizons, Progress, Brigand, Shogun Audio, Fokuz and Soul:R.
Richard David James, best known by the stage name Aphex Twin, is an English musician. He is best known for his idiosyncratic work in electronic styles such as techno and ambient music in the 1990s, and has also been associated with the electronic subgenre known as intelligent dance music. In 2001, Guardian journalist Paul Lester called James "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music".
Waveform Records is an American record label founded in 1994 in Sedona, Arizona with subsequent stops in the San Francisco Bay Area in Mill Valley, Austin, San Diego and currently now on Maui. Waveform specializes in a "sensual and stimulating genre of chill and ambient music" that the label calls "exotic electronica".

Lemongrass is a German music project and record label created by DJ and producer Roland Voss in 1996 and known for music that mixes electronic music, EDM, downtempo, drum-n-bass, lounge, jazz, soul, trip-hop, Chillout, world music, meditation music, deep ambient, New Age and other influences. Roland Voss and his brother Daniel formed the Lemongrass music label in 2005, they have some side projects named Jasmon, Five Seasons and Weathertunes.
Laurent Daumail, better known by his stage name DJ Cam, is a French record producer. Daumail's music is largely rooted in hip hop, combined with elements of jazz, dub, and ambient and composed using samples. Daumail first rose to prominence in the 1990s with records such as Underground Vibes and Underground Live, which have been credited as early examples of trip hop, and he emerged as a leading figure in the decade's "ambient hip-hop" scene. He founded the record label Inflamable. In addition to his own musical output, Daumail has produced several compilations and albums for other artists.
