Lisa Bjurwald (born 24 December 1978) is a Swedish award-winning journalist and author, covering culture and politics. Since 2023, she is the Political Editor at regional Swedish newspaper VLT. She is a regular contributor to, for example, Expressen Kultur and The Local.
She has worked for media such as Expo, between 2006 and 2011, she was editorial writer for Svenska Dagbladet in 2007 and Dagens Nyheter, between 2008 and 2011. She has also been a columnist in Expressen newspaper and Journalisten. 2011-2017 she was part-owner and editor at Medievärlden. 2017-2019 she was editor-in-chief of Författaren (The Author) magazine.
In 2010, one of her reports won the European parliament journalist prize. [1] In 2013 she received the Teskedsordens book prize for her book Skrivbordskrigarna - Hur extrema krafter utnyttjar internet. [2] She is a Raoul Wallenberg Award nominee (2018). [3]

Nyheter Idag is a Swedish-language online newspaper. The magazine was founded in February 2014 by Chang Frick and Jakob Bergman, and they say their news reports focus on "politics, gossip, social media and foreign news". The publication describes itself as based on libertarian principles, and the employees have a background in different organizations. Expo grouped Nyheter Idag with "right-wing populist and far-right alternative media", but also stated that it was the news site most difficult to fit into that mold. It has been labelled a racist site by some pundits.
John Charles Kenneth Gärdestad was a Swedish songwriter, best known for writing lyrics for the songs of his brother, Ted Gärdestad. He participated at Melodifestivalen 1979 as a songwriter for the winning song "Satellit" performed by his brother. The song went on to Eurovision the same year, where it placed 17th. Gärdestad was also an architect, affiliated to the private Kunskapsskolan, where he designed the interior of several of its high schools. Gärdestad published the biography Jag vill ha en egen måne in 2005. In later years he became a mental health activist, and created the "Ted Gärdestad Stipend", a prize awarded to amateur singers and songwriter.
Josefine Jakobsen is a Danish ice hockey forward and member of the Danish national team, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Brynäs IF. Known for her strong two-way play, she is the thirteenth leading scorer in SDHL history and the second leading scorer in Djurgården history. She has won the Swedish Championship three times and was the first player to be named Danish Women's Player of the Year twice by the Danish Ice Hockey Union.
