Lisa Mattson

Lisa Mattson (1918-1997) was a Swedish politician (Social Democrat). [1]

She was active in the Social-Demokraten in 1941–1943, Idun 1944, Morgon-Tidningen 1945, and Ny Tid 1948–1963.

She was an MP in 1959-1983 and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Justice in 1974-1983. She was the chairperson of the Social Democratic Women in Sweden in 1964–1981. She was a Delegate of the United Nations in 1974-1975.

Barnen från Frostmofjället is a 1945 Swedish film, directed by Rolf Husberg. It is based on the novel with the same name by Laura Fitinghoff. The story concerns seven orphans and a goat named Gullspira travelling in northern Sweden during the 1860s. The name of the goat, Gullspira, is now used for the award for the best children's film maker.

Anna Westberg was a Swedish journalist, novelist and non-fiction writer. She grew up in Ovansjö socken in Gästrikland. She made her literary debut in 1978, with the novel Paradisets döttrar. She co-edited the two-volume Kvinnornas litteraturhistoria from 1981/1983. She was awarded the Dobloug Prize in 1992.

Karin Margareta Ahrland, née Andersson was a Swedish politician, diplomat, lawyer, and activist. She was a member of the parliament of Sweden (Riksdag) from 1976–1989. She served as the Minister of Health and Social Affairs from 22 May 1981 to 8 October 1982. From 1989 she served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, first as a Consul General in Montreal, Canada from 1990 to 1993, and then as an Ambassador to Wellington, New Zealand from 1993 to 1995.
