Adriano Celentano is an Italian singer-songwriter, actor, and filmmaker. He is dubbed Il Molleggiato because of his energetic dancing.
Nicola Di Bari is an Italian singer-songwriter and actor. He is considered one of the "sacred monsters" of Italian pop music.
Rita Ori Filomena Merk-Pavone, better known as Rita Pavone is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress, who enjoyed success through the 1960s.
Iva Zanicchi is an Italian pop singer and politician. She has a mezzo-soprano voice and is nick-named by the press as "Eagle of Ligonchio".
Arlette Zola is a singer who represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982. She was born Arlette Jaquet in the city of Fribourg on 29 April 1949. Her song, "Amour on t'aime", was an upbeat number. Zola was placed third behind Germany and Israel. She made two further attempts at reaching the Eurovision finals. In 1984, she took third place in the Swiss final with Emporte-moi. 1985 also saw her in third spot, this time with Aime-moi, performed with Helder and the Heldernauts.
Vath Koreshi (1936–2006) was one of the most renowned Albanian novelists and screen writers. He is perhaps best known for writing a series of romans and novels such as “The two Saturdays of Susana" (1971), “The Hajji of Frakulla" and “The marriage of Sako" (1980),“Requiem for a woman" (1995), "The wulf and the star" (1996), “A woman in yellow in Buddha Forest" (2003) etc., but also for writing scripts to the movies "Gjeneral Gramafoni" (1978); "Rrugë të Bardha" (1974). "Balada e Kurbinit" (1990) etc.
Saim Kokona was an Albanian cinematographer who was regarded as one of the most prolific in the cinema of Albania.
The National Center of Cinematography is the largest film distributor and film production company in the cinema of Albania connected with over 700 films between 1947 and 2012. The studio has produced and distributed the vast majority of Albanian films. Especially important was its work in the 1970s and 1980s when the studio averaged 75–80 movies per year.

The musicarello is a film subgenre which emerged in Italy and which is characterised by the presence in main roles of young singers, already famous among their peers, and their new record album. In the films there are almost always tender and chaste love stories accompanied by the desire to have fun and dance without thoughts. Musicarelli reflect the desire and need for emancipation of young Italians, highlighting some generational frictions. The genre began in the late 1950s, and had its peak of production in the 1960s.
