Television in Spain was introduced in 1956, when the national state-owned public service television broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) started regular analog free-to-air terrestrial black and white broadcasts. Colour transmissions started in 1972 after two years of test transmissions, with all programming transmitted in color in 1977, and colour commercials starting in 1978. TVE held a monopoly on television broadcasting until regional public channels were launched during the 1980s and commercial television started nationwide in 1990. Digital terrestrial television was launched on 30 November 2005 with analog service discontinued on 3 April 2010. Currently, television is one of the leading mass media of the country, and by 2008 was in 99.7% of households in Spain according to INE statistics.

Aitana Ocaña Morales, known mononymously as Aitana, is a Spanish singer and songwriter. She first gained national recognition in 2017, placing as the runner-up in the revival series of the Spanish reality television talent competition Operación Triunfo. While competing on the show, Aitana recorded the single "Lo Malo" with fellow contestant Ana Guerra. The song became an instant hit in Spain, debuting at number-one and holding the spot for several weeks. Following the competition, Aitana signed a 360º record deal with Universal Music and released her debut solo single "Teléfono" to commercial success and streaming-breaking records.

The series directed by Jorge Bechara and Daniel De Filippo, stars Isabela Souza along with Gabriella Di Grecco, Julio Peña Fernández, Fernando Dente, Agustina Palma, Giulia Guerrini, Andrea De Alba and Guido Messina, as well as Daniela Trujillo, Micaela Díaz, Julia Argüelles, Alan Madanes, Rhener Freitas, Esteban Velásquez, Rodrigo Rumi, Luis Giraldo, Valentina González and Jandino.
The 2020 Chilean Primera División, known as Campeonato Nacional AFP PlanVital 2020 for sponsorship reasons, was the 90th season of the Chilean Primera División, Chile's top-flight football league. The season started on 24 January 2020 and ended on 17 February 2021 with the relegation play-off. Universidad Católica were the defending champions, having won the previous tournament. The season was first broadcast in Latin American on Disney Channel from 24 June 2019 to 8 November 2019 with a total of 60 episodes, divided into three parts of 20 episodes.
The second season of the Argentine television series Bia was produced by Non Stop Producciones and Pegsa Group, and directed by Jorge Bechara and Daniel De Filippo, the season was first announced in October 2019. It premiered on Disney Channel Latin America on 16 March 2020 and ended on 24 July 2020, once again consisting of 60 episodes. Unlike the first season, the second season is not divided into parts, although the mid-season break remained intact, with 40 episodes airing until 8 May 2020. With its original air date pushed back, the season's remaining episodes started airing in Spain on 22 June 2020, before airing in Latin America the following week.
30 Coins is a Spanish mystery horror television series created by Álex de la Iglesia for HBO Europe. Directed and written by De la Iglesia and co-written by Jorge Guerricaechevarría, the series follows Father Vergara, an exorcist who the church exiles to Pedraza, a remote village in Spain, where he hopes his enemies forget him.
Estoy vivo is a Spanish crime television series with supernatural and comedy elements. Created by Daniel Écija and produced by RTVE in collaboration with Globomedia and Good Mood, it premiered on 7 September 2017 on La 1. Its fourth season premiered on 10 March 2021.
Stories to Stay Awake is a Spanish horror anthology television series consisting of a reboot of the series of the same name created by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador and broadcast on TVE from 1966 to 1982. It was released on Amazon Prime Video on 5 November 2021 and it is slated to air on RTVE in the future. The four parts are directed by Rodrigo Cortés, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, Paco Plaza and Paula Ortiz.
Giulia Danielle Guerrini Genusi is an Italian actress and singer. She is also known for her performance as Rebecca Guglielmino in the television series Alex & Co. (2015−2017) and as Chiara Callegri in the Disney Channel Latin American series Bia (2019−2020).
