The following is a list of Central Arkansas Bears basketball head coaches. There have been 20 head coaches of the Bears in their 101-season history. [1]

Central Arkansas' current head coach is Anthony Boone. He was named as the Bears' permanent head coach in March of 2020, after having served as interim head coach since December of 2019. [2] Boone replaced Russ Pennell, who took a leave of absence in December of 2019 and left for good three weeks later. [3]

  1. 1 2 Eldson coached for the first four games of the 1944–45 season, and Hindsman finished the season. The exact dates of the games for this season are unknown; both coaches are listed as having coached from 1944 to 1945.

  4. Williamson resigned to take an assistant coaching position with the Sacramento Kings just before the 2013–14 season. Finley was named interim head coach for the season. [5]

The Central Arkansas Bears basketball team represents the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. UCA currently plays in the ASUN Conference, which it joined in 2021 after 15 seasons as a member of the Southland Conference. The Bears play home games at the Farris Center located on the UCA campus in Conway, Arkansas and are currently led by interim head coach Anthony Boone.

Allen Gum is a former American baseball coach and player. He played college baseball at Crowder College from 1988 to 1989 before transferring to Southern Arkansas. He then served as the head coach of the Southern Arkansas Muleriders (2006–2010) and the Central Arkansas Bears (2011–2021).

Sandra Rushing is an American women's college basketball coach. She has served as head coach at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), Delta State University, and the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). When she left UTEP, she had the best record for women's basketball in the school's history. Rushing was inducted into the El Paso Women's Hall of Fame in 1999.

They finished the season 10–21, 9–11 in Southland play to finish in ninth place. They failed to qualify for the Southland Conference tournament.

The 2020–21 Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team represented the University of Arkansas during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by second-year head coach Eric Musselman and played its home games at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as a member of the Southeastern Conference. The Razorbacks finished second in the SEC regular season and earned a 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament's South Regional. Arkansas went on to make it to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 1995–96 season, and then to the Elite Eight for the first time since the 1994–95 season. Freshman guard Moses Moody was named the SEC Freshman of the Year, 1st Team All-SEC, Freshman All-American, and AP Honorable Mention All-American. The Razorbacks finished the season with an overall record of 25–7, 13–4 in SEC play, and finished ranked #6 in the Coaches Poll and #10 in the AP Poll. Arkansas's season ended when they lost to eventual national champion Baylor in the Elite Eight.

This was the Bears' last season as members of the Southland Conference; UCA left the Southland in July 2021 to join the ASUN Conference.
