Most of WJR's broadcast studios, along with its newsroom and offices, are in the Fisher Building in Detroit's New Center area. A tower atop the Fisher Building relays WJR's audio to the transmitter site, and at one time WJR-FM also used this tower. There is an additional satellite studio in the Wintergarden of the GM Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.

Detroit's WXYT-FM (97.1 FM) serves as the network's flagship. The network also includes 46 affiliates in the U.S. states of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana: 25 AM stations, 15 of which supplement their signals with one or more low-power FM translators; 21 full-power FM stations; and one HD Radio digital subchannel which supplements its signal with a low-power FM translator. The radio network airs select spring Grapefruit League games, along with all 162 regular season games and all postseason games. Dan Dickerson does play-by-play for the broadcasts while color commentary is provided by Bobby Scales or Andy Dirks. Daniella Bruce serves as the in-game reporter and interviewer and Jeff Riger hosts the pre-game and post-game shows. In addition to traditional over-the-air AM and FM broadcasts, network programming airs on SiriusXM satellite radio; and streams online via SiriusXM Internet Radio, TuneIn Premium, and MLB.com Gameday Audio.
The Detroit Lions Radio Network is a radio network in Michigan and Toledo, Ohio that broadcasts all of the NFL's Detroit Lions games and related programming. All preseason, regular season, and postseason games are aired live throughout the network. The announcers are WJBK sports director Dan Miller with play-by-play, former Lions offensive tackle Lomas Brown with color commentary, and former Lions guard T. J. Lang serving as sideline reporter. Network coverage begins two hours before game time and ends one hour after the game's conclusion. Games are also aired on Sirius XM Radio and online with a subscription to NFL Game Pass or TuneIn Premium. The Lions' flagship station returned to WXYT-FM starting with the 2021 season, after a five-year stint at WJR. As of the 2024 season, the network consists of 50 stations in 40 markets in Michigan and one in Ohio.

The games air live on Fox 2 and the rest of the Detroit Lions Television Network, with re-airings on Bally Sports Detroit. Most of the stations are affiliates of the Fox network, which airs a majority of Lions regular season games.
