Hicham El Guerrouj is a retired Moroccan middle-distance runner. El Guerrouj is the current world record holder for the 1500 metres and mile, and the former world record holder in the 2000 metres. He is the only man since Paavo Nurmi to win a gold medal in both the 1500 m and 5000 metres at the same Olympic Games.

Nadja Benaissa is a German singer and television personality. She rose to fame in late 2000 when she auditioned for the German adaption of the reality television show Popstars and became a member of the girl group No Angels, one of the best-selling girl groups of European origin of all time. During their hiatus, Benaissa released her solo album, Schritt für Schritt (2007), which produced the single "Ich hab dich", and represented Hesse in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2006 with the song, finishing in fourth place.

Le Journal Hebdomadaire was a French-language, Moroccan weekly magazine, published between 1997 and 2010. It was cofounded by Aboubakr Jamaï, who also co-founded its Arabic-language counterpart, Assahifa Al Ousbouia.

Olympic Club Safi is a Moroccan professional football club based in Safi. Winner of the Moroccan Cup in 1950, the club has currently been playing in Botola since the 2004-05 season.

Behind Closed Doors is a 2014 Moroccan drama film directed by Mohamed Bensouda and co-produced with Christophe Kay Kourdouly. The film stars Zineb Obeid with Karim Doukkali, Ahmed Saguia, and Amal Ayouch in supporting roles. The film explores the cultural taboo of sexual harassment through the perspective of Samira, a young married woman who faces unwanted advances from her office's new director. It premiered at the 2013 Marrakesh International Film Festival where two additional screenings were added due to popular demand. The critically acclaimed film went on to become Morocco's top selling movie in 2014 and screened worldwide.

Germany Shore is a German and a Swiss reality television series on the premium sector OnePlus and Joyn and on the television channel 3+ and MTV Germany. It was first broadcast on November 17, 2021, and is the German and Swiss offshoot of the American show Jersey Shore.
