Pinar del Río is one of the provinces of Cuba. It is at the western end of the island of Cuba.
Viñales Valley is a karstic depression in Cuba. The valley has an area of 132 km2 (51 sq mi) and is located in the Sierra de los Órganos mountains, just north of Viñales in the Pinar del Río Province. In 1999, the valley was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural landscape because of its use of traditional tobacco-growing techniques.
Viñales is a town and municipality in the north-central Pinar del Río Province of Cuba. The town consists mostly of one-story wooden houses with porches. The municipality is dominated by low mountain ranges of the Cordillera de Guaniguanico such as Sierra de los Órganos. Typical outcrops known as mogotes complete the karstic character of the landscape.
The Yamaha YZR-M1 is an inline-four motorcycle specifically developed by Yamaha Motor Company to race in the current MotoGP series. It succeeded the 500 cc (31 cu in) YZR500 by the 2002 season and was originally developed with a 990 cc (60 cu in) engine. Since then, the YZR-M1 has been continuously developed into several iterations through the 990cc, 800cc and 1000cc eras of Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing.
The Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's basketball team is the men's basketball team that represent Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Northeast Conference and are coached by Patrick Sellers. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2007.
Luis Jaime Salom Horrach was a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer. Salom died after a practice accident at Circuit de Catalunya, when making contact with his bike and the wall after a high-speed accident. Racing in the Moto2 class since 2014, he finished 41 races, with 3 podium appearances, including a second-place finish at the 2016 Qatar season opener. At the time of his death, Salom ranked 10th in the 2016 Moto2 Championship point standings. Previously he had competed in Moto3, accumulating nine race victories, finishing 2nd and 3rd in the 2012 and 2013 championships, respectively.
Maverick Viñales Ruiz is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, currently riding in MotoGP for the Aprilia Racing team. After five seasons as a MotoGP factory rider with the factory Yamaha Factory Racing team, his contract was terminated by mutual consent midway through the 2021 season. Viñales is the 2013 Moto3 World Champion, and is a 9-time Premier Class race winner.
Isaac Viñales Mares is a Spanish motorcycle racer. He is the cousin of former Moto3 World Champion and current MotoGP racer Maverick Viñales, and has competed in the Spanish 125GP Championship, the Spanish Moto2 series, the 125cc, Moto3 and Moto2 classes of Grand Prix motorcycle racing and the Supersport World Championship.
The 2012 Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix was the fifth round of the 2012 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and the 17th Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix. It took place on the weekend of 1–3 June 2012 at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. The three classes of motorcycle racing which took place during the weekend were MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3.
Kyle Vinales is an American basketball player currently playing for Mets de Guaynabo of the Puerto Rican League. He previously competed for the Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's basketball team. He announced that he would not transfer following the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season despite the high possibility due to CCSU's lack of success in basketball. Vinales is one of the highest scorers in Division I college basketball and most notably averaged 21.6 points in his successful sophomore season.
The Suzuki GSX-RR is a road racing motorcycle developed to race in the 1,000 cc (61 cu in) MotoGP series. Officially introduced on 30 September 2014 as the GSV-R replacement, it was developed by Suzuki since 2012.

Diego Viñales is a former Argentinian student who was swept up in a police raid on the Snake Pit gay bar in New York's Greenwich Village in March 1970. The raid at the Stonewall Inn that had sparked rioting and gay activism had occurred the previous summer, but such raids were still common. Taken to the police station, Viñales, who was on an expired student visa and fearful of deportation, tried to escape by jumping out a second floor window. He landed on a spiked fence. Viñales suffered grave injuries, but survived and was arrested. Protest marches in response to the day's events were led by gay activist groups formed in the wake of Stonewall, and helped sparked greater community awareness and interest in the upcoming Christopher Street Liberation Day events scheduled for 28 June to commemorate the first anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
The 2021 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 73rd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Fabio Quartararo won his first world title, with five race wins ahead of securing the title in the third last race of the season. Quartararo became the first ever Frenchman to win the premier class title, which was also the first title for a non-Spanish rider since Australian Casey Stoner in 2011. The season also saw Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martín win their first premier class races. In the overall standings, Bagnaia secured second place and reigning champion Joan Mir secured third place, while Martín was named rookie of the year. Ducati secured the constructors' championship for the second consecutive season and the teams' championship for the first time since 2007. In total, eight different riders won Grands Prix during the season.
The 2020 Teruel motorcycle Grand Prix was the twelfth round of the 2020 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and the eleventh round of the 2020 MotoGP World Championship. It was held at the MotorLand Aragón in Alcañiz on 25 October 2020.
The 2022 FIM MotoGP World Championship is the premier class of the 74th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Fabio Quartararo came into the season as the defending world champion.
Dean Berta Viñales was a Spanish professional motorcycle racer. He competed in the Supersport 300 World Championship for the Viñales Racing Team on a Yamaha YZF-R3.
