The following is a list of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball head coaches. There have been 22 head coaches of the Rainbow Warriors in their 102-season history. [1]

Hawaii's current head coach is Eran Ganot. He was hired as the Rainbow Warriors' head coach in April 2015, [2] replacing Benjy Taylor, who was not retained after serving as interim coach for the 2014–15 season. [3]

The team currently competes in the Big West Conference after leaving its longtime home of the Western Athletic Conference in July 2012. The team's most recent appearance in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was in 2016, with them getting their first NCAA Tournament victory that same year as well. The Rainbow Warriors are coached by Eran Ganot.

They finished the season 20–11, 9–7 in Big West play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big West Conference tournament to Cal State Northridge. Despite having 20 wins, they did not participate in a postseason tournament.

The 2014–15 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball team represented the University of Hawaii at Manoa during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by interim head coach Benjy Taylor, played their home games at the Stan Sheriff Center as members of the Big West Conference. On October 28, 2014, Gib Arnold was removed as coach at Hawaii following an NCAA investigation. Assistant Benjy Taylor was named interim head coach. Despite a 22 win season and being the runner up in their conference tournament, the Warriors didn't play in a postseason tournament. Taylor was not retained after the season.

The 2015–16 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball team represented the University of Hawaii at Manoa during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by first year head coach Eran Ganot, played their home games at the Stan Sheriff Center, and were members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 28–6, 13–3 in Big West play to tie for the Big West regular season championship. They beat Cal State Fullerton, UC Santa Barbara, and Long Beach State to become champions of the Big West tournament and earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. As a #13 seed, they defeated #4 seeded California in the first round for the school's first ever victory in the NCAA Tournament. They fell to Maryland in the second round.

Eran Ganot is an American college basketball head coach for the University of Hawaii men's team. In 2015–16, his first season as head coach at Hawaii, he earned Big West Coach of the Year accolades.

The Rainbow Warriors, led by second-year head coach Eran Ganot, played their home games at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii as members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 14–16, 8–8 in Big West play to finish in fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big West tournament to Long Beach State.

The 2017–18 Louisville Cardinals men's basketball team represented the University of Louisville during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team played its home games on Denny Crum Court at the KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville, Kentucky as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by interim head coach David Padgett after former head coach Rick Pitino was fired due to an FBI investigation into the school. They finished the season 22–14 overall, and 9–9 in ACC conference play, finishing in a tie for 8th with Florida State, who they defeated in the second round of the ACC tournament before losing to Virginia in the quarterfinals. They received an invitation to the NIT, where they defeated Northern Kentucky in the first round and Middle Tennessee in the second round before being defeated in the quarterfinals by Mississippi State.

The 2017–18 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball team represented the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by third-year head coach Eran Ganot, played their home games at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, as members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 17–13, 8–8 in Big West play to finish in sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big West tournament to UC Irvine. They were invited to play in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, but they declined the invitation, citing financial concerns.

The 2018–19 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball team represented the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by fourth-year head coach Eran Ganot, played their home games at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Hawaii was a member of the Big West Conference, and participated in their 7th season in that league. They finished the season 18-13, 9-7 in Big West play. They placed fourth in the conference, losing to Long Beach State in the quarterfinals of the Big West tournament. It was the second straight year Hawaii blew a double digit lead in the tournament en route to being eliminated in the quarterfinals for the third straight year. Despite being eligible, citing health and season length, the team declined an invitation to the CIT for the second consecutive year.

The 2019–20 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball team represented the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by fifth-year head coach Eran Ganot, played their home games at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Hawaii was a member of the Big West Conference, and participated in their eighth season in that league. On November 6, Ganot took a temporary leave of absence to deal with an undisclosed medical issue. He returned to coaching on December 29 for their game against Maine. First year assistant Chris Gerlufsen served as acting head coach from November 6 to December 28, compiling an 8–5 record. They finished the season 17–13, 8–8 in Big West play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They were set to be the No. 4 seed in the Big West tournament. However, the Big West tournament was canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
