Television was first introduced to Iran in 1958, as a privately-owned and commercially-operated enterprise, before being nationalised, remaining a state-controlled monopoly, first of National Iranian Radio and Television, and following the Iranian Revolution in 1979, of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.

Ali Zare Ghanatnowi is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, translator, cinema teacher, graphic designer, cameraman, and film producer. An active film-maker from 2000, he had been involved in over twenty films, including animations, shorts, and documentaries. Zare attained critical acclaim for directing Empty View (2017) and Dad's Fragile Doll (2013) which was awarded the best animation of International Open Film Festival (IOFF). His other film Empty View has won multiple international awards, including the best animation of Asians On Film. The music part in Empty View is made by Mohammadreza Aligholi. Empty view has been in the official selections for the best animation in Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada. This festival is among those confirmed by Oscar Academy that is held every year in Edmonton, Alberta. Ali Zare Ghanat Nowi, who had achieved this before by Dad's Fragile Doll being selected in Anima Mundi (event), now again reached this place by Empty View.

<i>The Secret of Armageddon</i> Iranian TV series or program

The Secret of Armageddon is a television series produced by Reza Jafarian and Saeed Mostaghasi of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). The series was broadcast in four seasons: "The Secret of Armageddon", "The Secret of Armageddon 2: Army of Shadows", "Secret of Armageddon 3: Temple of Darkness" and "Secret of Armageddon 4: Ghost Project". Broadcast on IRIB TV1 and IRIB TV3 between 2008 and 2010, the series' fourth season was criticized at Tel Aviv University.

The Religio-political currents and organizations in Iran is a Persian book by the Iranian author, Rasul Jafarian. The book describes the cultural and political events of Iran from the time of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi to the victory of the Islamic Revolution. More than 65 explanatory and critical notes have been written on this book. In the third edition of this book Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, wrote a note on the book's chapter that had written about Ali Shariati. The book has been reprinted over twenty times.

The Housing Foundation of Islamic Revolution was established on April 10, 1979, by the order of Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to provide housing for the deprived and to be responsible for the development of the country's villages and the construction of urban housing units within the policies and programs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
