Shreya Ghoshal, is an Indian singer. Noted for her wide vocal range and versatility, she is one of the most prolific and influential singers of India. Often referred to as the "Queen of Dynamics'' for her remarkable vocal expressions, Ghoshal is widely regarded as one of the greatest vocalists of the Indian subcontinent. She has recorded songs for films and albums in various Indian and foreign languages and received numerous accolades, including five National Film Awards, four Kerala State Film Awards, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, two BFJA Awards, seven Filmfare Awards and ten Filmfare Awards South.

<i>CID</i> (Indian TV series) Indian crime television series

CID is an Indian police procedural television series that premiered on Sony Entertainment Television on 21 January 1998. The series was created by B. P. Singh and produced by Singh and Pradeep Uppoor under the banner of Fireworks Production. It featured Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, Aditya Srivastava as Sr. Inspector Abhijeet, Dayanand Shetty as Sr. Inspector Daya, Dinesh Phadnis as Inspector Fredricks and Narendra Gupta as Dr. Salunkhe. The location of CID is set in Mumbai. The series is one of the longest-running television series in India. The series first premiered on 21 January 1998 and aired its 500th episode on 18 January 2008, 1000th episode on 13 September 2013, 1500th episode on 25 February 2018. The series renewed for a second season in December 2024 set to premiere from 21st December. CID garnered widespread national attention and developed a substantial following due to its distinctive storytelling and unique approach. It is widely regarded as a cult classic.

Fournier Beaudry and Sørensen represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

She is also a seven time Indian volleyball player. Before Arunima, Rhonda Graham from USA world's first female amputee climbed Mount Everest in October 2011.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is an Indian romance drama produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms, it starred Karan Patel, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Ruhanika Dhawan and Aditi Bhatia. The story was initially based on Manju Kapur's 2011 novel Custody, with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein continuing beyond Custody's story in later episodes.

Student of the Year 2 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language sports romantic comedy film directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Nokia Studios and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. A standalone sequel to the 2012 film Student of the Year, it stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, and Aditya Seal. It marks the debuts of both Panday and Sutaria in Hindi cinema.

Priyam Garg is an Indian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 19 September 2018. He made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2018. In December 2018, during the match against Tripura, he scored his maiden double century in first-class cricket. He made his Twenty20 debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 21 February 2019.

<i>Setters</i> (film) 2019 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film

Setters is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film directed by Ashwini Chaudhary and produced by Vikash Mani. Based on the examination of cheating rackets present in India, the film stars Aftab Shivdasani, Shreyas Talpade, Sonnalli Seygall, Vijay Raaz, Ishita Dutta, Pavan Malhotra, Jameel Khan and Pankaj Jha. The film is about an eponymous racket which arranges brilliant student in place of weak student to appear in examination for money.

<i>Toofaan</i> 2021 film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra

Toofaan (transl. Storm) is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language sports drama film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It stars Farhan Akhtar, Paresh Rawal, Mrunal Thakur and Hussain Dalal. In the film, Aziz Ali is an orphaned extortionist in Dongri who beats up shopkeepers for money. He later picks up boxing and trains in the sport, earning the titular moniker on his road to fame until his downfall and subsequent redemption.

The Overseas Indian representation in Indian sports refers to the participation of foreign nationals of Indian origin in international events of both senior and junior level representing the Republic of India. As India prohibits dual nationality, sports representation in international events with respect to Indian participation has generally followed the norm of selection of sportspeople of Indian nationality.
