Bashir Mohammed Ali Al-Hashimi, CBE, FREng, FIEEE, FIET, FBCS is the Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, and ARM professor of Computer Engineering at King's College London in the United Kingdom. He is also a Visiting Professor at the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Southampton. There, he is the co-director of the ARM-ECS Research Centre, which is an industry-university collaborative centre involving the University of Southampton and ARM. He served as a panel member on the UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 and is also a member of the REF 2021 Engineering Panel. His research focuses on understanding the interaction between hardware and software in constrained computing systems such as those found in mobile and embedded applications and how such interactions can be used through theory and experiment to achieve systems energy efficiency and enhanced hardware dependability. He has made fundamental contributions to the field of hardware-software co-design, low-power test and test-data compression of digital integrated circuits, and the emerging field of energy-harvesting computing.
Fadhel M. Ghannouchi is a Tunisian-Canadian electrical engineer, who conducts research in radio frequency (RF) technology and wireless communications. He has held several invited positions at academic and research institutions in Europe, North America, and Japan. He has provided consulting services to a number of microwave and wireless communications companies. He is currently Professor, Alberta Innovates/the Canada Research Chair, and the Founding Director of the Intelligent RF Radio Technology Laboratory, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Calgary, Calgary, AB.

Stepan Lucyszyn FIEEE is a British engineer, inventor and technologist, and Professor of Millimetre-wave Systems at Imperial College London, England, since 2016. He was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2014. Lucyszyn's research has mainly focused on monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), radio frequency microelectromechnical systems, wireless power transfer (WPT), thermal infrared technologies and additive manufacturing.
Elizabeth Laverick was a British engineer who became technical director of Elliott Automation Radar Systems. Laverick was the first female deputy secretary of the Institution of Electrical Engineers and president of the Women's Engineering Society. She was the first woman to receive a PhD in a scientific curriculum at Durham University, and was appointed an OBE in 1993.
Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers was a series journals which published the proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. It was originally established as the Journal of the Society of Telegraph Engineers in 1872, and was known under several titles over the years, such as Journal of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, Proceedings of the IEE and IEE Proceedings.
