<i>Los Angeles Times</i> American daily newspaper in California

The Los Angeles Times is a regional American daily newspaper that started publishing in Los Angeles, California in 1881. Fintan O'Toole is an Irish polemicist, literary editor, journalist and drama critic for The Irish Times, for which he has written since 1988. O'Toole was drama critic for the New York Daily News from 1997 to 2001 and is a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books. He is also an author, literary critic, historical writer and political commentator.

Cherwell is a weekly student newspaper published entirely by students of Oxford University. Founded in 1920 and named after a local river, Cherwell is a subsidiary of independent student publishing house Oxford Student Publications Ltd. Receiving no university funding, the newspaper is one of the oldest student publications in the UK.

<i>College Tribune</i> Student newspaper of University College Dublin

The College Tribune is a student newspaper which serves Ireland's largest third level institution, University College Dublin. It was established in 1989 with the assistance of journalist and broadcaster Vincent Browne who was attending the university as an evening student at the time. Browne noted the campus' lack of a news outlet which was independent of both the university and University College Dublin Students' Union and alongside founding editor Eamon Dillon set up the Tribune to correct this. Initially, a close working relationship was maintained between the Tribune and the Sunday Tribune which was at the time edited by Browne. This relationship afforded the paper the use of professional production facilities in its fledgling years. Ultimately however, the student newspaper would outlast its national weekly counterpart with the Sunday Tribune having ceased publication in 2011. The College Tribune is UCD's oldest surviving newspaper having been published continuously for over 30 years.

The Auditor of the Literary and Historical Society at University College Dublin, Ireland is a position elected by the members of the society. In this setting, the term auditor has no connection with accounting but means "a position corresponding to that of President of the Union at Oxford or Cambridge". Some former auditors of the society have gone on to careers of high distinction in law, politics, medicine, academia, journalism, and other endeavours.

Gerald Barry was an Irish political journalist and broadcaster. He worked for public service broadcaster RTÉ and the Sunday Tribune newspaper, during which time he became known for his "highly probing", "highly intelligent", "quite rigorous", "clinical, even forensic but never discourteous" interviewing style.

Kevin O'Sullivan is an Irish journalist. He was the editor of The Irish Times newspaper from 2011 to 2017. He was the thirteenth editor of the paper, succeeding Geraldine Kennedy on 23 June 2011, and succeeded in turn by Paul O'Neill on 5 April 2017.

Andy O'Mahony is an Irish broadcast journalist who worked for RTÉ from 1961 to 2013. He was one of the network's first television news anchors, and thereafter was a radio and television host of various long-running series. He also made radio and television programmes for BBC between 1977 and 1988, including a number of television arts documentaries for BBC Two.

Paul O’Neill is an Irish journalist. In April 2017, he succeeded Kevin O'Sullivan as editor of The Irish Times.
