The fictional universe of the Lensman series by E. E. "Doc" Smith features many planets and regions. The series was a runner-up for the 1966 Hugo Award for Best All-Time Series, losing to the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. [1] As such, it is of value to list the intergalactic settings,[ according to whom? ] as it was one of the first space operas written.
The following table lists names of planets and regions from the Lensman series, [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] along with the first page in each novel that has activity on it, or, if no action on it, then the first mention of it. Page numbers in regular text are active in the plot, while page numbers in italics are just mentioned. All page references are to the books shown in the References section. Planets are listed in the table in the order that they occurred in the first novel that they are mentioned in.
