The following is a list of Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball head coaches. There have been 24 head coaches of the Wildcats in their 118-season history. [1]

Northwestern's current head coach is Chris Collins. He was hired as the Wildcats' head coach in March 2013, [2] replacing Bill Carmody, who was fired at the end of the 2012–13 season. [3]

They finished the season 20–14, 7–11 in Big Ten play, lost in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Big Ten Conference men's basketball tournament and were invited to the 2010 National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to the University of Rhode Island. Northwestern received its first national (AP) ranking in 41 years, when it was ranked #25 in the December 28 AP poll.

The 2010–11 Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball team represented Northwestern University in the 2010–11 college basketball season. This is head coach Bill Carmody's eleventh season at the Northwestern. The Wildcats were members of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Welsh-Ryan Arena. In the previous year, they finished the season 20–14, 7–10 in Big Ten play, lost in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Big Ten Conference men's basketball tournament and were invited to the 2010 National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the quarterfinals to Washington State.

Henderson was a member of three consecutive Ivy League championship Princeton teams as a player. He was a co-captain of the second of these undefeated league champions along with Steve Goodrich.

This was head coach Bill Carmody's twelfth season at the Northwestern. The Wildcats were members of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Welsh-Ryan Arena. They finished the season with 19-14 overall, 8-10 in Big Ten play, finished in a tie with Iowa in 7th place. The team concluded the postseason for the 2012 Big Ten Conference men's basketball tournament, where they were defeated by Minnesota in the first round. They were invited to the NIT, where they beat Akron in the first round, and they lost to Washington in the second round.

This was head coach Bill Carmody's ninth season at the Northwestern. The Wildcats are members of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Welsh-Ryan Arena. They finished the season 17–14, 8–10 in Big Ten play, lost in the first round of the 2009 Big Ten Conference men's basketball tournament and were invited to the 2009 National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to the University of Tulsa. Northwestern matched their school record for most wins in a season and recorded their first post-season appearance since 1999.

The 2017–18 Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball team represented Northwestern University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by fifth-year head coach Chris Collins as members of the Big Ten Conference. They played their home games at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois while the university's Welsh-Ryan Arena, underwent renovations. A winning record in the Big Ten as well, a Round-of-32 NCAA appearance in 2016–17, and the return of all key offensive contributors led to big expectations for the 2017–18 season. But the Wildcats stumbled to a poor start, finishing the season with a disappointing 15–17 record, 6–12 in Big Ten play to finish in 10th place. They lost in the second round of the Big Ten tournament to Penn State.

Patrick O'Neal Baldwin Sr. is an American assistant college basketball coach for the Valparaiso Beacons. He previously served as the head coach of the Milwaukee Panthers basketball team. He played college basketball for the Northwestern Wildcats, and played professionally in Bosnia and Croatia.

Tavaras Hardy is an American college basketball coach, most recently as head coach of the Loyola Greyhounds men's basketball team.

The 2018–19 Holy Cross Crusaders men's basketball team represented the College of the Holy Cross during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Crusaders, led by fourth-year head coach Bill Carmody, played their home games at the Hart Center in Worcester, Massachusetts as members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 16–17, 6–12 in Patriot League play to finish in last place. They defeated Lafayette in the first round of the Patriot League tournament before losing to Bucknell in the quarterfinals.

The 2019–20 Holy Cross Crusaders men's basketball team represented the College of the Holy Cross during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Crusaders, led by first-year head coach Brett Nelson, played their home games at the Hart Center in Worcester, Massachusetts as members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 3–29, 2–16 in Patriot League play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the Patriot League tournament to Bucknell.
