Season 1 premiered on March 5, 2003, originally concluded on April 9, 2003, resumed on June 19, 2004 and ended on July 31, 2004. The first six episodes used a more-crude animation style. The next seven episodes switched this style to a more vibrant, nicely-drawn style.

12 oz. Mouse is an American adult animated television series created by Matt Maiellaro for Cartoon Network's late-night programming block, Adult Swim. The series revolves around Mouse Fitzgerald, nicknamed "Fitz", an alcoholic mouse who performs odd jobs so he can buy more beer. Together with his chinchilla companion Skillet, Fitz begins to recover suppressed memories that he once had a wife and a child who have now vanished. This leads him to seek answers about his past and the shadowy forces that seem to be manipulating his world.

During the more than thirty-year existence of the network, there have been many successful prime time animated series. In October 2020, Povenmire announced a new series for Disney Channel titled Hamster & Gretel, which premiered in 2022.

<i>Gintama</i> Japanese manga series by Hideaki Sorachi

Gintama is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi. It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2003 to September 2018, later in Jump Giga from December 2018 to February 2019, and finished on the Gintama app, where it ran from May to June 2019. Its chapters were collected in 77 tankōbon volumes. Set in Edo, which has been conquered by aliens named Amanto, the plot follows samurai Gintoki Sakata, who works as a freelancer in his self-established store, "Yorozuya", alongside his friends Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura, offering a wide range of services to handle various tasks and odd jobs. Sorachi added the science fiction setting to develop characters to his liking after his editor suggested doing a historical series.

Smiley Guy Studios is a Canadian television production company founded in 1998 by graduates of the Canadian Film Centre including Jeremy Diamond, Adrian Carter and Denny Silverthorne; Jonas Diamond joined in 1999. It is one of the most prominent creators of adult animation in Canada, with shows like Odd Job Jack, The Dating Guy, Sons of Butcher and Corner Gas Animated, unlike most studios which focus primarily on shows targeting children's or family demographics. Smiley Guy also produces family content.

The Fairly OddParents is a media franchise created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It officially began as a series, in 2001 after releasing shorts on Oh Yeah! Cartoons from 1998. As a result of the series, by-products were launched, including video games, theme park attractions, figurines, and toys.
