On 3 October 2014, John Edwards confirmed that Offspring would not return for a sixth series in 2015, due to cashflow issues resulting from Ten's cost-cutting measures in its production division. [1] However on 20 September 2015, Ten confirmed that Offspring would return for a sixth season in 2016. [2]

The X Factor is an Australian television reality music competition, based on the original UK series, to find new singing talent. The first season of the show premiered on Network Ten on 6 February 2005. Ten dropped The X Factor after the first season due to its poor ratings. In 2010, the Seven Network won the rights to the show, and a second season went into production. The X Factor was renewed after the highly successful Australian Idol was no longer broadcast on Network Ten. The X Factor was produced by FremantleMedia Australia, and was broadcast on the Seven Network in Australia and on TV3 in New Zealand. The program was cancelled after its eighth season in 2016.
The Block is an Australian reality television series broadcast on the Nine Network. The series follows four or five couples as they compete against each other to renovate and style houses/apartments and sell them at auction for the highest price.
The Farmer Wants a Wife is an Australian reality television series based on the British reality show Farmer Wants a Wife. The first eight seasons, hosted by Natalie Gruzlewski, aired on the Nine Network between 2007 and 2012, with a ninth season, hosted by Sam McClymont broadcast in 2016. A tenth season aired on the Seven Network when the series was revived for the second time in 2020.
Food Safari is an Australian television food series presented by Maeve O'Meara and produced by Kismet Productions in association with SBS TV Australia, and explores the cuisines brought to Australia by its immigrants. From seasons 1 to 4, each episode covered a cuisine from a particular culture, including commonly used ingredients and where to obtain them in Australia, the preparation and consumption of 'popular favourites', basic dishes and desserts/sweets. Seasons five to seven, whilst still covering Australian cuisine, focused on the basic elements involved in food preparation, with Food Safari Fire consisting of barbecuing, grilling and smoking of meat and vegetables, Food Safari Earth consisting of vegetarian dishes and focusing on European fermentation and preservation of vegetables, and Food Safari Water which focused on seafood.
Rake is an Australian television program, produced by Essential Media and Entertainment, that first aired on the ABC TV in 2010. Shaun Micallef's Mad as Hell is an Australian comedy news television program hosted by Shaun Micallef. The show first aired on ABC at 8:00 pm on Friday, 25 May 2012. The show was named as Most Outstanding Comedy Program at the Logie Awards of 2016. Its title is a reference to the 1976 American satirical black comedy-drama film Network.
Surveillance Oz is an Australian factual television series screened on the Seven Network that premiered in October 2012. In May 2015, spin-off series Surveillance Oz: Dash Cam launched.
Selling Houses Australia is an Australian reality and lifestyle TV series, based on the British show Selling Houses. The series follows property owners who are having difficulty selling their home. The show is hosted by property expert and author Andrew Winter, who also presented the British version. He is joined by landscaper Dennis Scott and interiors expert Wendy Moore of The Interiors Edit. The team initially assess the property, then proceed with a renovation to boost the property's appeal and saleability. The property is then put up for sale and the result is shown at the end of each episode. The series is produced exclusively for Foxtel by WBITVP.

The fourth series aired in 2019, beginning on 21 August 2019. A fifth series aired from 7 June 2023.
First Dates is an Australian reality dating television show. The format is based on a British program of the same name. The first four seasons previously aired on Seven Network and were narrated by Sam Mac. The fifth season aired on Network 10 and was narrated by Tommy Little.
