Prizmmy is a Prism Star group consisting of Mia Ageha, Reina Miyama, Karin Shijimi, and Ayami Ōruri. They are the main characters in Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future . These characters are based on the real life girl group Prizmmy. All of them first made cameo appearances in episode 50 of Aurora Dream.
Puretty (ピュリティ, Pyuriti, Pretty in the arcade game [1] ) is a Prism Star group from South Korea who are in Japan on a study-abroad program at Pretty Top. The group consists of Hye-in, So-min, Shi-yoon, Chae-kyung, and Jae-eun, who are the main characters in Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future . The characters are based on the real-life girl group Puretty. Love-Mix is a Prism Star duo composed of Itsuki Harune and Yong-hwa, who debut in Dear My Future.

The Pretty Rhythm franchise was first launched in July 2010 with the rhythm and dress-up arcade game Pretty Rhythm: Mini Skirt. After the original Pretty Rhythm games ended service in July 2014, Takara Tomy began publishing the PriPara spin-off series from 2014 to 2018. It was then followed up by Kiratto Pri Chan in 2018, with all series grouped under the collective name Pretty Series. A spinoff media franchise, King of Prism, was launched in 2016 focusing on the male characters featured in the 2013 anime Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live, which was aimed at an older female audience.

The group debuted in Japan in 2012 through the anime series Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future, where fictionalized versions of the members appeared as the secondary cast, and their songs, "Check it Love" and "Shuwa Shuwa Baby", were used as the series' ending theme songs. Despite plans for them to make their Korean debut, the group disbanded in January 2014, with DSP Media announcing the possibility of its members becoming part of other groups in the future.

Yoon Chae-kyung, is a South Korean singer and actress. Yoon began her career with debuted as a member of Puretty under DSP in Japan during 2012 and the group later disbanded in January 2014. Following the disbandment, Yoon appeared as a contestant in the 2014 Kara's reality show for searching a new member Kara Project. She also appeared in the reality show Produce 101 and later in the mockumentary series The God of Music 2 which she became a member of project group C.I.V.A and also joined the fan-made group of Produce 101, I.B.I both respectively in 2016. Yoon later was added as a member of the DSP girl group April in 2017 and participated in group activities until their disbandment in 2022.
