In 2005 the Shooto Organization decided to create splinter Shooto organizations around the world, with their own rankings and champions. Along with a European and American Shooto organization, a Pacific Rim organization was created focusing on Asia (but mostly Japan). This is the title history for the Pacific Rim titles.

Noboru Tahara is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist, who competed in the strawweight divisions of Pancrase and Shooto. He is a one-time Pancrase light flyweight and one-time Shooto flyweight title challenger. He is recognized as the tenth best strawweight in the history of mixed martial arts by Fight Matrix.
Junji Ito is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist who competed in the flyweight division. He is a four-time Shooto World Flyweight (114lbs) Championship title challenger and the former Shooto Flyweight champion. He's recognized as the seventh greatest strawweight in the history of the sport by Fight Matrix.
Mikihito Yamagami is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist who competed in the Strawweight divisions of Shooto and Road Fighting Championship. He is the former Shooto Flyweight Champion.
Taito Gunji is a Japanese kickboxer, currently competing in the featherweight division of K-1, where he is the current featherweight champion. A professional competitor since 2015, Gunji is the 2022 K-1 Featherweight World Grand Prix winner, the former Krush Bantamweight champion, and a two-time Krush Super Bantamweight title challenger.
