Eirene or Irene, more commonly known in English as Peace, is one of the Horae, the personification and goddess of peace in Greek mythology and ancient religion. She was depicted in art as a beautiful young woman carrying a cornucopia, sceptre, and a torch or rhyton. She is usually said to be the daughter of Zeus and Themis and thus sister of Dike and Eunomia. Her Roman equivalent is the goddess Pax.

Haruka Nogizaka's Secret is a Japanese light novel series by Yūsaku Igarashi, with illustrations by Shaa. The first novel was released in October 2004, and as of January 2012, 15 volumes have been published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Yasuhiro Miyama was serialized in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Moeoh between the October 2006 and August 2010 issues. An anime adaptation produced by Studio Barcelona aired between July and September 2008; a second anime season aired between October and December 2009. A visual novel for the PlayStation 2 was released in Japan in September 2008 and a second game for the PlayStation Portable was released for digital download in February 2010.
Michiko & Hatchin is a Japanese anime television series conceptualized by Manglobe and produced by Media Factory, Fuji TV, Shochiku, Yomiko Advertising and Hakuhodo DY Media Partners. It is directed by Sayo Yamamoto, with Takashi Ujita writing the scripts, Hiroshi Shimizu designing the characters and Seiki Tamura serving as art director. The music was composed by the Brazilian musician Alexandre Kassin and produced by Shinichirō Watanabe. The two eponymous starring roles are portrayed by film actresses Yōko Maki and Suzuka Ohgo. It was broadcast for 22 episodes on Fuji TV's (Noise) programming block from October 2008 to March 2009. The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll in North America and Australia.

Media Factory published eight volumes of the novels from July 2013 to August 2016. A manga adaptation by Sayuki was serialized in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Gene magazine. An anime television series produced by Doga Kobo and directed by Tarō Iwasaki aired in Japan between April and June 2015.
