She is best known for the manga series Fullmetal Alchemist (2001–2010), which became a hit both domestically and internationally, and was adapted into two anime television series. She is also known for Silver Spoon (2011–2019) and the manga adaptation of The Heroic Legend of Arslan novels.

Nitta chose to use the pornography industry as a backdrop because she felt it had potential, and she felt there was a parallel between how the pornography industry is marginalised in Japan and how boys love manga is marginalised within the manga industry.
Ninja Slayer is a novel series created by American authors Bradley Bond and Philip "Ninj@" Morzez. After they gave permission for Japanese translations to be published via Twitter, Enterbrain published the first translated novel in September 2012, with illustrations by Warainaku. Sixteen novels have been released as of June 2016. It has received three manga adaptations. An ONA adaptation produced by Trigger and directed by Akira Amemiya which aired from April to October 2015.
Kiss Him, Not Me, is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Junko. It was serialzed in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine from April 2013 to February 2018. Fourteen tankōbon have been released. It is published in English by Crunchyroll for online releases and by Kodansha USA in print. The manga won Best Shōjo Manga at the 40th Kodansha Manga Awards.
Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroki Adachi, under the pseudonym Hero. It was self-published as a webcomic on Hero's website, Dokkai Ahen, from February 2007 to December 2011 in a four-panel format. The series received a print publication by Square Enix, who compiled the chapters in ten tankōbon volumes under its imprint Gangan Comics from October 2008 to December 2011. Additional side-story chapters were compiled in fifteen volumes from July 2012 to July 2021 as Hori-san to Miyamura-kun Omake.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil, known in Japan as Yōjo Senki, is a Japanese light novel series written by Carlo Zen and illustrated by Shinobu Shinotsuki. It began serialization online in 2010, on the user-generated novel publishing website Arcadia. Enterbrain acquired the series in October 2013 and has published fourteen volumes by September 2023. A manga adaptation with art by Chika Tōjō began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace magazine from April 2016.
Tsuredure Children is a Japanese four-panel manga written and illustrated by Toshiya Wakabayashi. It was serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from August 2014 to March 2015, and transferred to Weekly Shōnen Magazine, where it ran from April 2015 to July 2018. It was compiled into twelve tankōbon volumes.
