The World of David the Gnome, originally titled David, el Gnomo and also known as David, the Gnome, is a Spanish animated television series based on The Secret Book of Gnomes, a series of children's books by Dutch author Wil Huygen and illustrator Rien Poortvliet. The series was originally created in Spain by BRB Internacional, who were also responsible for the Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds franchise and other animated series, such as Bobobobs and Around the World with Willy Fog, and Televisión Española. Twenty-six episodes were produced. There was also a spin-off series, Wisdom of the Gnomes.

The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin is a children's animated television series based on Teddy Ruxpin, an electronic children's toy created by Ken Forsse and distributed by toy manufacturer Worlds of Wonder (WoW9. Produced in 1986–7 for television syndication by DIC Enterprises with Atkinson Film-Arts, the series employed many of the same voice actors used in the book-and-tape series that was made for the eponymous animatronic toy. While some of the stories used in the TV series were adapted from the books, many were original and greatly expanded upon the world established there. The series differed from traditional children's animation at the time in that most of its 65 episodes were serialized rather than in traditional episodic form.
The Neverending Story is an animated television series, produced by CineVox Entertainment and animated by Ellipse Animation and Canadian Nelvana Limited. It aired for one season (1995–1996) on HBO, and ran for 26 episodes. In Canada, it also aired on Family Channel. The series is loosely based on Michael Ende's book, The Neverending Story (1979).
Trollz is an American animated television series produced by DIC Entertainment. These trolls were based on the troll doll created by Thomas Dam in the 1960s.
Stone Protectors is a 1993 multi-media entertainment property consisting primarily of an action figure line and animated series. The series also had a tie-in video game released for the Super NES and the Sega Genesis. It served as a late attempt to market the troll doll craze of the early 1990s to young boys. While not particularly successful, nor inspired by a prior medium, Stone Protectors generally followed in the same vein as contemporaries including Toxic Crusaders, Swamp Thing, and the highly popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Peggy Lee was the first artist to record the song for her album of the same name also that year. It is sung, in the musical, by the dance hostess girls; it was choreographed by Bob Fosse for the Broadway musical and the 1969 film. It is set to the beat of a striptease as the girls taunt the customers.

Swamp Thing is an animated television series based on the Vertigo/DC Comics superhero character Swamp Thing. The series is short-lived, with the pilot episode airing on October 31, 1990 followed by four additional episodes airing weekly from April 20 to May 11, 1991. It aired on YTV from 1991 to 1993 in Canada. Produced by DIC Animation City, the series corresponded with Kenner's Swamp Thing action figure collection released in 1990. Despite the animated series' brief run, various merchandise was also produced in 1991 resulting in the only significant marketing platform ever created for the character. This is the final animated series from DC Comics to not be produced by Warner Bros. Animation.
Walter Dohrn is an American writer, director, animator, musician, and actor. He performed the voice of Rumpelstiltskin in Shrek Forever After (2010), as well as various characters in Shrek the Third (2007). He will direct Shrek 5, set for release in 2026. Dohrn has also worked as writer, director, and storyboard director in Season 2 of SpongeBob SquarePants, and he also worked on 2 episodes from Season 3. He co-directed the film Trolls (2016) and directed its sequels, and voiced various characters in the franchise. In 2020, Dohrn signed a deal with DreamWorks Animation.

The film was directed by Mike Mitchell and co-directed by Walt Dohrn, from a screenplay by the writing team of Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, based on a story by Erica Rivinoja. It stars the voices of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, Russell Brand, James Corden, John Cleese and Gwen Stefani. The film follows two trolls named Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) who go on a quest to save their village from destruction by the Bergens, giant creatures who eat Trolls to be happy.

It follows the story of James "Jim" Lake Jr., a teenage boy who finds a mysterious amulet and stumbles across a secret realm inhabited by trolls and other magical creatures. Soon afterward, he and his friends are charged with protecting the world from the dangerous monsters that lurk in the shadows of their small suburban town.
Wallykazam! is an American CGI interactive children's animated television series created by Adam Peltzman for Nickelodeon. The series was first broadcast on February 3, 2014 on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. block and ended on September 16, 2017. In Canada, it was broadcast on Treehouse TV. In December 2020, the entire series was added to Paramount+.
Trolls Holiday is a 2017 American animated musical Christmas special that premiered on NBC on November 24, 2017. Based on the film Trolls, the half-hour Christmas special was directed by Joel Crawford and produced by DreamWorks Animation. The main cast all reprised their roles as their respective characters, most notably Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, and Zooey Deschanel as Poppy, Branch, and Bridget, respectively. Another special with the same theme, but with another plot, Trolls: Holiday in Harmony, aired on November 26, 2021, on NBC.
Trolls: The Beat Goes On! is an American animated television series produced by DreamWorks Animation. Based on the 3D computer-animated comedy musical film Trolls, the show premiered on Netflix on January 19, 2018, in the United States and takes place between the events of the first film and the sequel, Trolls World Tour. Amanda Leighton, Skylar Astin, Kari Wahlgren, Sam Lerner, David Kaye, David Fynn, Sean T. Krishnan, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Fryda Wolff provide the new voices for Princess Poppy, Branch, Bridget, King Gristle, King Peppy, Biggie and Mr. Dinkles, Guy Diamond, Smidge, DJ Suki and Satin & Chenille for this series respectively; only Ron Funches and Walt Dohrn reprise their roles as Cooper and Cloud Guy, also respectively. Matt Lowe also voices Creek in the series, who returns in "Creek Week".

The Trolls franchise made $5 billion in retail sales by 2005.
The Mighty Ones is an American animated television series produced by DreamWorks Animation Television and created by Sunil Hall and Lynne Naylor, which premiered on November 9, 2020, on Peacock and Hulu. It was renewed for a second season, which was released on July 1, 2021. It is the first TV series produced by DreamWorks Animation Television since their rename to be completely original material and not based on any pre-existing property. The fourth and final season premiered on December 9, 2022.
Trolls: TrollsTopia is an animated television series produced by DreamWorks Animation based on the 3D computer-animated comedy musical films Trolls and Trolls World Tour, and the sequel to Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, taking place between World Tour and Trolls Band Together. The series premiered on Hulu and Peacock on November 19, 2020. A second season was released on March 18, 2021, a third season was released on June 10, 2021, a fourth season was released on September 2, 2021, a fifth season was released on December 9, 2021, a sixth season was released on February 17, 2022, and a seventh and final season was released on August 11, 2022.
