<i>Strange Empire</i> Canadian television drama series

Strange Empire is a Canadian Western television series that aired on CBC Television in the 2014–15 television season. Created by Laurie Finstad-Knizhnik, the series is a serialized drama set in Janestown, near the Alberta-Montana border in the 1860s, in which three women band together for survival after their husbands are murdered.

You Me Her is an American–Canadian comedy-drama television series that revolves around a suburban married couple who are entering a three-way romantic relationship, one type of polyamorous relationship. The series is set in Portland, Oregon and was created by John Scott Shepherd. The series is also promoted as TV's "first polyromantic comedy". On June 9, 2016, Audience Network renewed the series for a second and third season. On July 27, 2018, the series was renewed for a fourth and fifth season. The fourth season premiered on April 9, 2019.

Jem Garrard is a British-Canadian director, screenwriter, and producer. Garrard is the creator and showrunner on the space opera series Vagrant Queen released in 2020, and the award winning mockumentary webseries Android Employed, which ran from 2017 to 2018. They directed the fourth series of comedy-drama You Me Her in 2019, and episodes of Wynonna Earp and Motherland: Fort Salem. Garrard has been nominated for a daytime Emmy award for Mech-X4 and won a Leo Award in 2018.
