Changi General Hospital is a 1000-bed hospital located in Simei, eastern Singapore. It is Singapore's first purpose-built general hospital to serve communities in the east and north-east regions.
Pakokku is a largest city in the Magway Region in Myanmar, also known as Burma. It is situated about 30 km north-east of Bagan on the Irrawaddy River. It is the administration seat of Pakokku Township, Pakokku District and Gangaw District. Pakokku Bridge is part of the India–Myanmar–Thailand Trilateral Highway and is the longest bridge in Myanmar.It is home of the Pakokku airport.

North Okkalapa was one of the satellite towns established in 1959. Today, it is a firmly established part of the city, albeit with nominal access to the city's electricity grid and sewer system. It is located in the 5 to 30 minute drive zone to Yangon International Air Port, the primary and busiest international airport of Myanmar, located in Mingaladon Township. For those who loves local trips, Aung Mingalar High Way Bus Station is located within 30 min drive zone from the township.

The Yangon General Hospital is a major public hospital in a 14-hectare (35-acre) compound in Yangon, Myanmar. The 2,000-bed hospital consists of seven medical wards, three surgical wards, two trauma and orthopaedic wards, and 28 specialist departments for inpatient care. The hospital also runs an ER for general medicine, general surgery and traumatology.
The University of Medicine 2, Yangon is a university of medicine, located in North Okkalapa, Yangon, Myanmar. The university offers M.B., B.S. degrees and graduate degrees in medical science. The university is one of the most selective in the country, and accepts approximately 300 students annually based solely on their University Entrance Examination scores.
University of Missouri Health Care is an academic health system located in Columbia, Missouri. It is owned by the University of Missouri System. University of Missouri Health System includes five hospitals: University Hospital, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Missouri Orthopaedic Institute and University of Missouri Women's and Children's Hospital — all of which are located in Columbia. Kyaw Thu is a two-time Myanmar Academy Award winning film actor and film director. One of the top leading men of Burmese cinema in the 1980s and 1990s, Kyaw Thu has starred in over 200 films and has directed several successful films. Since the early 2000s, Kyaw Thu has devoted much time to do social work for the poor, and in the process has gradually emerged as a vocal critic of the Burmese military government.
The Defence Services Medical Academy (DSMA), located in Mingaladon, Yangon, is the University of Medicine of the Myanmar Armed Forces. One of the most selective universities in the country, the academy offers M.B., B.S. degree programs. Upon graduation, most DSMA cadets are commissioned with the rank of Lieutenant in the Myanmar Army Medical Corps. The military physicians are to serve the healthcare needs of rural people when they are assigned in the country's remote regions where access to healthcare is poor.
The Directorate of Medical Services (DMS) commands the Myanmar Army Medical Corps. The DMS also commands some military academies jointly with other directorates. Currently the Director of DMS is Maj Gen Soe Win. There are one Director, one Deputy Director, two Staff Officers and two Staff Officers in DMS.
Myint Maung Maung is an obstetrician and gynecologist who became head of the North Okkalapa General Hospital in Burma. In May 2011 he received a Sayawun Tin Shwe Award.

Founded in 1870, HKL is a not-for-profit institution and serves as the flagship hospital of the Malaysian public healthcare system. This hospital serves as a tertiary and referral hospital. It is located on 150 acres of prime land in the city with 84 wards and 2,300 beds, making it one of the largest hospitals in the world. More than 90 per cent of the beds in HKL are allocated for subsidized patients, providing access to an internationally established standard of affordable healthcare.
The 500–bed Specialty Hospital, Yangon is a specialty hospital in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), which was formally opened on 25 Aug 2014. It is located on Min Ye Kyaw Swar Road in Lanmadaw Township and 20-minute walk from Yangon General Hospital. It was established by renovating the building that the Ministry of Energy used in the past. It was built by the Ministry of Health, Myanmar in cooperation with 4 private companies: Original Group, A1, Golden Flower and Shwe Taung Development. Over 7.6 million USD was provided by the companies and the Ministry of Health was responsible for interior decoration, equipment and staff. It is aimed to be the main facility for liver and kidney transplants in the future.
The Thingangyun Sanpya Hospital is one of the major public hospitals in Yangon. It is located in Thingangyun Township, which about 10 km far from downtown Yangon. It is a 500- bedded hospital for 1.3 million population. It is also a teaching hospital affiliated with University of Medicine 2, Yangon.
The South Okkalapa Women and Children Hospital is a 150-bedded specialist public hospital in South Okkalapa Township of Yangon. Colonel Tun Sein laid foundation for the hospital on 18 February 1960 and U Nu, the first Prime Minister of Myanmar, officially opened it as a Catholic Missionary Hospital on 1 May 1961. It became a 100-bedded specialist hospital for women and children on 12 July 1965 and then was upgraded to a 150-bedded Women and Children Hospital on 19 August 1987.
