This article is a list of incidents at Raging Waters Los Angeles, a water theme park in San Dimas, California.
In 1995, a boy named Robert Livingston, age 16 of West Covina was beaten up by an unspecified person from Fontana, age 17. The person beating Livingston up was tried at court as an adult. Livingston was reported as having seizures when he was being beaten up. He died at Pomona Valley Medical Center after falling into a coma. [1]
In 2001, a girl aged 17 was involved in a collision with a tube crashing into her uncle. Her uncle’s tube had become uncontrollable and was swept away from him. Even though there were signs telling him not to, he ended up walking down a spillway to get the tube. The current also swept the girl in her tube, down the spillway, into her uncle, and causing injuries, including a broken neck. The girl was sent to the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center as a result, and the ride was closed for further investigation. [2]
