CNN+ (TV network) 1999–2010 Spanish news channel

CNN+ was a Spanish 24-hour television news channel. Launched in 1999 as a joint venture by Sogecable and Turner Broadcasting, a unit of Time Warner that owns CNN, it went off the air at the end of 28 December 2010. The management announced that CNN+ would be closed on December 31, 2010 because of low ratings and financial losses.

Astra 1A was the first satellite launched and operated by SES, launched in December 1988. During its early days, it was often referred to as the Astra Satellite, as SES only operated one satellite originally. The satellite provided television coverage to Western Europe from 1989 through 2004. Astra 1A was retired and became derelict in December 2004.

ATV is a Turkish free-to-air television network owned by Kalyon Group.

Astra 2C is one of the Astra communications satellites owned and operated by Société Eurpéenne des Satellites. Designed to join Astra 2A and Astra 2B at the Astra 28.2°E orbital position providing digital television and radio broadcast services to the United Kingdom and Ireland, the satellite was first used after launch in 2001 at 19.2° East for pan-European coverage.

Babeworld was a British adult chat television broadcaster on Sky from 2006 until 2011. Both the channel and programme were named Babeworld.

Expo Channel Australian television channel

Expo Channel is an Australian home shopping channel. It is owned by parent company Direct Group Pty Ltd, a marketing and direct sales company based in Sydney, which also owns sister channel TVSN.

Mezzo is a French television channel devoted to classical music, jazz and world music. It was formed in 1992 and was called France Supervision until 1998. In 2010 it added a sister channel, Mezzo Live HD.

e2 (TV channel) Television channel

e2 was a Turkish television channel launched in January 2007 that often broadcasts American series. It is owned by the Doğuş Group. The channel closed on January 31, 2016.

Assadissa Television channel

Assadissa, is a Moroccan public television channel dedicated to religious affairs. It is a part of the state-owned SNRT Group along with Al Aoula, Arryadia, Athaqafia, Al Maghribia, Aflam TV, Tamazight TV and Laayoune TV. The channel was launched on 3 November 2005. Other than readings from the Quran, there are also programmes of religious services, debates, and documentaries.

Gay TV was an encrypted subscription channel from the UK that broadcast over Sky and Virgin Media television platform from 20:00 to 05:30 daily, targeted at gay men.

FEM (TV channel) Norwegian television channel

FEM is a Norwegian television channel targeting young women. It broadcasts from London and is the second channel of TVNorge, part of Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA.

TIMM was a German language free-to-air cable and satellite service from Germany targeting gay male audiences. It was first launched on November 1, 2008. It was also available over a live stream.

Hainan Television (HNWTV) is a television station in Hainan, China.

A9 TV was a Turkish television station that started broadcasting on March 21, 2011 via Turksat satellite television channel broadcasting. Much of the programming includes religious and English language content, with an emphasis on creationism over evolution and Darwinism. A substantial amount of content features Islamic creationist and cult leader Adnan Oktar. In 2018, the channel was fined several times by the country's broadcasting regulator Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK).

Youssef El Deeb is an Egyptian-Lebanese-Canadian TV executive and award-winning film maker, book writer, director, producer, and childrenʼs book author. He founded Takhayal Entertainment and its flagship channel Fatafeat TV the first Arabic food network television channel, which was acquired by Discovery Communications in 2013.
