This article lists the members of the Indonesian Regional Representative Council from 2004 to 2009. The first Regional Representative Council follows the 2004 Indonesian legislative election held on 5 April 2004. There are 128 elected senators in the Parliament.

Regional Representative Council Upper house of the Peoples Consultative Assembly of Indonesia

The Regional Representative Council, is one of two parliamentary chambers in Indonesia. Together with the Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, (DPR), it makes up the Indonesian national legislative body, the Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat (MPR). Under Indonesia's constitution, the authority of the DPD is limited to areas related to regional governments and can only propose and give advice on bills to the DPR. Unlike the DPR, the DPD has no direct law-making power. Its members are usually called senators instead of DPD members.

Mandala Airlines Flight 091 2005 aviation accident

Mandala Airlines Flight 091 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Medan to Jakarta, operated by Mandala Airlines with a Boeing 737-200Adv. On September 5, 2005 at 10:15 a.m. WIB (UTC+7), the aircraft stalled and crashed into a heavily populated residential area seconds after taking off from Polonia International Airport. Of the 117 passengers and crews on board, only 17 survived. An additional 49 civilians on the ground were killed.

Currently, Alwi serves as a senator representing the province of Banten in the seat of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia period 2014–2019.

Shaleh Muhamad Aldjufri

Doctor Habib Shaleh Muhamad Aldjufri, Lc., M.A. or better known as Habib Shaleh is Indonesian independent politician who is currently serving as the Senator of the Republic of Indonesia from Central Sulawesi. Shaleh began serving as a member of the DPD RI after he ran for the 2009 Indonesian legislative election in the electoral district of Central Sulawesi. He won 78,303 votes, ranked fourth as a candidate who managed to qualify as a Senator from Central Sulawesi, below the other three candidates who got the highest votes.

Lundu Panjaitan

Lundu Panjaitan, S.H., M.A. was a Batak politician and bureaucrat. He began his career in bureaucracy as the assistant for administrative affairs in the office of the Governor of North Sumatra, and became the Regent of Central Tapanuli in 1980. Since then, he was appointed to several high positions in North Sumatra, such as the Head of the Tourism Bureau of North Sumatra, Regent of North Tapanuli, Chairman of the Provincial Investment Coordinating Board of North Sumatra, and the Deputy Governor of North Sumatra.

Sientje Sondakh Mandey Indonesian politician

Sientje Sondakh Mandey, more colloquially referred to as Sientje, is a Christian Indonesian Politician from the province of North Sulawesi. She served in the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia from 2004 until 2009, and again from 2013 until 2014, following the death of Ferry Tinggogoy. She was the wife of the now deceased former governor of North Sulawesi, Adolf Jouke Sondakh. Born in Manado, North Sulawesi, and she enrolled at Sam Ratulangi University. However, she didn't finish her degree, instead, she discontinued her education until 1985, when she attended Indonesia Open University, and graduated in 1990.
