Abdulla Shaig, born Abdulla Mustafa oglu Talibzadeh, was an Azerbaijani writer.

Azerbaijani art is the art created by Azerbaijanis, other people that currently live on the territory of Azerbaijan, or people that used to live on the territory of Azerbaijan. They have created rich and distinctive art, a major part of which is applied art items. This form of art rooted in antiquity, is represented by a wide range of handicrafts, such as chasing (metalworking), jewellery-making, engraving, carving wood, stone and bone, carpet-making, lacing, pattern weaving and printing, and knitting and embroidery. Each of these decorative arts is evidence of the culture and the abilities of the Azerbaijan nation, and are very popular there. Many interesting facts pertaining to the development of arts and crafts in Azerbaijan were reported by merchants, travellers and diplomats who visited these places at different times.

Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum is a museum located in Baku that displays Azerbaijani carpets and rugs with historical and modern weaving techniques and materials. It has the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world. First opened on Neftchiler Avenue in 1967, it moved to a new building on the Baku's seafront park in 2014.

The State Security Service is the principle domestic intelligence agency and secret police of Azerbaijan, created out of the 2015 dissolution of the Ministry of National Security. The DTX was established by Presidential Decree 706 of December 14, 2015, issued by Ilham Aliyev. Headquartered in Baku, the agency has been led by Colonel General Ali Naghiyev since June 2019.

House-Museum of Uzeyir Hajibeyov is the museum located in Shusha of Uzeyir Hajibeyov – an Azerbaijani composer, musicologist, publicist, playwright, teacher and public figure, founder of the professional musical art of the modern Azerbaijan and of the national opera.

The house-museum of Jafar Jabbarly is a memorial museum dedicated to the Azerbaijani playwright, poet, director and screenwriter, Jafar Jabbarly (1899–1934).

Khidir mosque is a historical mosque of the XIV century. It is a part of Old City and located on Muslim Magomayev street, in the city of Baku, in Azerbaijan. The building was also registered as a national architectural monument by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 2, 2001, No. 132.

Takyeh is a historical monument of the 13th century. It is a part of Old City and located on Gazi Muhammed street, in the city of Baku, in Azerbaijan. Mountains of Azerbaijan cover approximately 60 percent of the country's land area. There are three mountain ranges in the territory of Azerbaijan, which are the Greater Caucasus, the Lesser Caucasus, and the Talysh Mountains.

The festivals in Azerbaijan are held throughout the year in different regions of the country. The city of Baku is considered as the most important center of the festivals due to their scale and types. The festivals in each region, on the other hand, represent its own local characteristics mostly related to its food, fruit and so on.

Shusha Carpet Museum is the Shusha branch of the State Museum of Azerbaijani Carpets and Applied Art, established by the Order of the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan SSR No. 502 of September 26, 1985 to study, preserve and live the traditions of Karabakh carpet weaving. The branch began its activity on May 19, 1987, in the 18th-century mansion belonging to General Samad bey Mehmandarov.

Mehdi Huseynzade Monument - is a monument to the Azerbaijani partisan of the Second World War, Hero of the Soviet Union, Mekhti Huseynzade, and was installed in 1973 in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, in the park along the Bakikhanov street near the northern entrance into the city. The sculptor is Fuad Abdurakhmanov, the Peoples Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR, the architect is Mikael Useinov, the Peoples Architect of the USSR.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Zohrabbayovs' house</span> 19th century building

The Zohrabbayovs' house is a 19th-century building that belonged to the representative of the noble Shusha family of the Zohrabbayovs, to Abbasgulu bey Zohrabbayov.

Adelaida Mammadova was an Azerbaijani musician-scientist, educator, public figure and Recipient of the Shohrat Order.
