Zaragoza, also known in English as Saragossa, is the capital city of the Zaragoza Province and of the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It lies by the Ebro river and its tributaries, the Huerva and the Gállego, roughly in the center of both Aragon and the Ebro basin.
The 1983 Aragonese regional election was held on Sunday, 8 May 1983, to elect the 1st Cortes of the autonomous community of Aragon. All 66 seats in the Cortes were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with regional elections in twelve other autonomous communities and local elections all throughout Spain.

Antonio Torres Millera was a Spanish politician and a member of the People's Party of Aragon. He served as a deputy of the Aragonese Corts, the regional parliament, from 2003 until his death in 2019. He was also second Vice President of the Aragonese Corts at the time of his death in 2019.
Republics Now is an electoral alliance formed for the 2019 European Parliament election in Spain by Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC), Basque Country Gather and Galician Nationalist Bloc (BNG) and with Oriol Junqueras as its leading candidate. The second candidate of the list will be Diana Riba. The following candidates on the list will be shared between EH Bildu, BNG and ERC. Moreover, Andecha Astur, Puyalón de Cuchas, Canarian Nationalist Alternative, National Congress of the Canaries and Unity of the People will also participate in the candidature. It is a successor to The Left for the Right to Decide and The Peoples Decide coalitions in the 2014 election. ERC said that the alliance is open to other "Souverainist, republican and progressive forces".

María Teresa Muñoz Guillén, is a world recognized textile artist whose works are exhibited in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. She resides and works in New York, Naples (FL) and Zaragoza and is best known for the creation and restoration of textile art in classic and contemporary styles. Ms. Muñoz Guillén is credited for having recovered and refined the original medieval textile art and executed it with antique and modern noble materials. Her work adorns government institutions and private collections.
Silvia Clemente Municio is a Spanish politician and civil servant. She is a member of the People's Party of Castile and León, and was the minister for the environment of the Junta of Castile and León from 2001 to 2003. She was appointed director general in charge of environmental quality on August 5, 1999. She was president of the Junta of Castile and León, from 2015 to 2019. She changed her obligation when she was appointed culture and tourism advisor in 2003. She was exercises the obligation of advisor to agriculture and livestock between 2007 and 2015. She announced her resignation as a member of the People's Party.
Canto a la libertad is the most well-known song by Aragonese singer-songwriter José Antonio Labordeta. It was composed in 1975 to represent "a dream of solidarity, humanity, social justice, hope and freedom" and constitute "a hymn to the Aragonese people".
Luis María Beamonte Mesa is a Spanish People's Party politician. He is a member of the Cortes of Aragon, where he has led his party since 2019. He was previously the mayor of Tarazona (2007–2019) and president of the provincial deputation of the Province of Zaragoza (2011–2015).
María Eugenia "Maru" Díaz Calvo is a Spanish politician for the party Podemos. First elected to the Cortes of Aragon in 2015, she led the party in the 2019 election, and was subsequently made Minister of Science, University and Knowledge Society in the Second government of Javier Lambán.
