Frederikssund Kommune is a municipality on the shores of Roskilde Fjord in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. On 1 January 2007, the municipality was enlarged to include the old Jægerspris, Slangerup, and Skibby municipalities. It now covers an area of 250 km² and has a population of 45,800. As of 1 January 2014 its mayor is John Schmidt Andersen, a member of the agrarian liberal Venstre political party. Frederikssund municipality belongs to Region Hovedstaden.

Vallensbæk Municipality is a municipality in the Capital Region of Denmark on Zealand. It is part of the Greater Copenhagen area and consist primarily of the suburb of Vallensbæk. It is one of the smallest municipalities in Denmark in terms of area. Vallensbæk Municipality borders the municipalities of Ishøj, Høje-Taastrup, Albertslund and Brøndby. It borders Køge Bay, and the Køge Bay Beach Park along the coast. The suburb of Vallensbæk consists of two sections, not directly connected to each other: Vallensbæk Nordmark in the north and Vallensbæk Strand in the south. The two parts of the town are commonly referred to together as Vallensbæk. The only other settlement in the municipality is the village of Vallensbæk Landsby.

Smørumnedre is a town and suburban area situated in Egedal Municipality in the northwestern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark and forms part of Copenhagen's urban area. The original village has merged with the neighbouring villages of Måløv in Ballerup Municipality and Jonstrup in Furesø Municipality to form an urban agglomeration with a population of 20,657. The small and relatively undisturbed village of Smørumovre is located about 500 metres to the west of Smørumnedre while Lille Smørum("Little Smørum") refers to a group of scattered farms to the south. The three localities are collectively referred to as Smørum.

Frederikssund is a Danish town, seat of the Frederikssund Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden with a population of 16,850. It received the status of market town in 1810. The town is famous for its annual Viking Games as well as for the J.F. Willumsen museum. Since 1935, it has been connected to Hornsherred via the Kronprins Frederik Bridge.

Oluf Pedersen was a Danish politician from the Justice Party of Denmark. He was a member of the Folketing 1932-45 and 1950–60 and Minister of Fishery in the cabinet of H.C. Hansen II (1957–60) and the cabinet of Viggo Kampmann I (1960).

Flintholm is a modern neighbourhood in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Located just south of Flintholm station, on the border with Vanløse, it is the result of a redevelopment of a former gasworks site which began in 2004 and is still ongoing. The neighborhood covers an area of about 10 hectares and consists of a mixture of housing, offices, retail and several minor green spaces. The only surviving building from the gasworks, The Yellow Villa, now serves as a local cultural centre.

Gelsted is a small town and parish in northwestern Funen, Denmark. Gelsted is located roughly halfway between Ejby and Aarup, 28 kilometers west of Odense. The parish is located in Middelfart Municipality, and a small portion is located in Assens Municipality, within the Region of Southern Denmark. 1 January 2022 the town had a population of 1,711 with 2,312 in the parish in total itself. It contains the Gelsted Church.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Buresø</span>

Buresø is a lake located in a tunnel valley, immediately southeast of Slangerup, where Allerød, Frederikssund and Egedal municipalities meet. The tunnel valley, which was formed during the last ice age, runs in an east-west direction and can be followed along Mølleåen all the way to the Øresund coast. Between Buresø and the nearby Bastrup Sø there is a watershed. Buresø drains via Græse Å to the west to Roskilde Fjord, Bastrup Sø drains to the east to Mølleåen. Buresø and surroundings is part of Naturpark Mølleåen.
