Gjergj Fishta was an Albanian Franciscan friar, poet, educator, politician, rilindas, translator and writer. He is regarded as one of the most influential Albanian writers of the 20th century due to his epic masterpiece Lahuta e Malcís and the editor of two of the most autoritative magazines after Albania's independence, Posta e Shypniës and Hylli i Dritës.
Jakup Krasniqi is a Kosovar politician and former acting President of Kosovo. He is former Chairman of the Assembly of Kosovo. In November 2020 he was arrested for charges of crimes against humanity and war crime filed before the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.
The Valamara is a mountain of the Central Mountain Range in Southeastern Albania. The mountain is roughly part of a series of mountains, extending from north-northeast to south-southwest between the valleys of Shkumbin in the north and Devoll in the south. It is one of the highest peaks in the European continent, in terms of topographic prominence.
Korab is a mountain range in the eastern corner of Albania and the western part of North Macedonia, running along the border between both countries. It forms also the European Green Belt. In Albania, it is also called Vargu lindor, but this term encompasses mountains further north, such as the Koritnik and Gjallica. The highest peak is Mount Korab at 2,751 m (9,026 ft) above sea level. With a prominence of 2,169 m (7,116 ft), Korab is the 18th most prominent mountain peak in the European continent. The mountains are composed of sedimentary rock, including shale, sandstone, dolomite and limestone. The name refers to a Paleochristian sea god.
Vajtim or Gjëmë is the dirge or lamentation of the dead in the Albanian custom by a woman or a group of women. In Northern Albania, men can also be seen singing.

Helena "Elena" Gushi Kadare is an Albanian author of short stories and novels. One of these, 1970's Një lindje e vështirë, is the first by a woman to have been published in Albania.
If I Were a Boy is an Albanian epistolary novel written by Haki Stërmilli in 1936. Written mostly in a form of diary entries it documents the struggle of the young female protagonist Dija to adjust in an Albanian patriarchal society, which was common during the time the novel was written in. Originally the novel was written in Gheg dialect.
Hajro Ulqinaku is an Albanian writer from Ulcinj, Montenegro.
Petro Zheji was an Albanian linguist, translator, philosopher, and author from Gjirokastër who lived and worked intellectually in Tiranë, Albania. As a polyglot, he was deeply knowledgeable in the Italian, French, English, Spanish, German, Russian, Hebrew, Sanskrit, Ancient Greek, and Latin languages. The Albanologist Elsie considers him "the spiritual father to a whole generation of Albanian intellectuals".
Ndue Sinishtaj is an Albanian poet, and former Catholic priest from Montenegro known for writing poems in Gheg Albanian.
Skënder Luarasi (1900-1982) was an Albanian scholar, writer and anti-fascist activist.
Fairs in Pristina started since the medieval period, at the time when it was famous for its annual trade fairs and its goat hide and goat hair articles. Pristina always had a development in trading due to its position in the Balkan trade routes. Despite that fact, Pristina, or Kosovo in general, is not known for occurrence of fairs. With the development of culture and especially after the last war in 1999, Pristina has had progress on holding these kinds of events.

Arlinda Dudaj is an Albanian publisher who currently serves as the president of "Dudaj" Publishing House. She is the co-founder of the "Albanian Book Association" along with Ardian Klosi and presently serves as the organization's chairwoman.
Moglicë is a historic village in the Stëblevë commune, Elbasan County, in Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Librazhd. Until 1991 Moglicë was under the administration of Dibër, Albania. Since 1991 Stëblevë consists of the villages Borove, Llange, Moglicë, Prodan, Sebisht, Steblevë and Zabzun.
When Rulers Quarrel is a work by Albanian writer Ismail Kadare, dealing with the relationship between rulers and literature. It was launched on 16 November 2018 at the 21st National Book Fair in Tirana.

The Prishtina Book Fair is an annual book fair held in the Prishtina, capital of Kosovo. The event is traditional organization and the participation of Kosovo's publishers with common stand at the fair on the world renowned - Frankfurt Book Fair. So far, there, at the Palace of Youth and Sports have been organized book fairs, every year. The first book fair took place on 17 to 22 November 1999 but others were organized during May and/or June. The number of participants is about 100 publishers, mostly from Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Diaspora, etc.
Gazmend Çitaku is an Albanian Montenegrin photographer, publisher, and librarian. Born on December 4, 1970 in Skenderaj, Kosovo, he lives and works in Ulcinj, Montenegro. He belongs to the Universum Academy of Switzerland, Bashkimit të Krijuesve Shqiptarë në Mal të Zi, and the Qendrës Mediterane të Fotografisë dhe Asociacionit Ulqini.
