The Punjab Stadium is a football stadium in Lahore, Pakistan. It was nicknamed the "Ian Rush Stadium" after the Liverpool striker visited Pakistan to promote grassroots football in the country.

Sport in Pakistan is a significant part of Pakistani culture. Cricket is the most popular sport in Pakistan, while field hockey, polo, and squash are also popular. Traditional sports like kabaddi and other well-known games are also played.

WAPDA Lahore Football Club is a football club of Water & Power Development Authority, based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The club used to compete in the Pakistan Premier League. The club regularly participates in the PFF National Challenge Cup.

The Indonesia national rugby union team represents Indonesia in rugby union. They are nicknamed the "Rhinos". The team is a full member of World Rugby. They have yet to play in the Rugby World Cup. The Indonesian squad was formed in 2006 to attend the IRB sanctioned Six Division Asian Rugby Football Tournament between Brunei, Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia. They currently compete in Division 3 South-East in the Asian Rugby Football Union.
Islamabad Rugby Football Club also known as the JINNS is a rugby football club from Islamabad, Pakistan. It was formed in 1992 by a group of expatriates, as a registered club. The club enjoyed among its members both local and expatriate players. In 1996, the local players took over the affairs of the IRFC and worked hard to bring the club to a better and more organized level. The club, however, plays regular matches with the British High Commission and also a mixture of player's from the Australian High Commission, French embassy, and expats working with various companies.

The Uzbekistan Rugby Federation is the governing body for rugby union in Uzbekistan. The Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan was established in 2002, becoming a full member of ARFU and full member of World Rugby.
Various types of sports are played in Punjab. Both Indian Punjab and Pakistani Punjab have separate sports boards to undertake most of the sports activities in their respective regions. Also many many private organizations, universities and schools held their sporting events as well. Punjab youth festival is an annual event in Pakistani Punjab that is very famous in terms of audience participation. Also local boards make sure to have international collaborations when necessary to improve standards in certain sports.
The 2016 National Football Challenge Cup or 2016 Pakistan Football Federation Cup was the 26th season of domestic cup tournament in Pakistani football. 24 teams took part in this competition from 28 January 2016 to 22 February 2016, which took place in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.
The 2019 Asia Rugby Championship division tournaments refers to the divisions played within the annual international rugby union tournament for the Asian region. The Asia Rugby Championship (ARC) replaced the Asian Five Nations tournament in 2015. The main tournament is now contested by the top three teams in Asia. The other national teams in Asia compete in three divisions.
The Pakistan Football Federation League B Division is a Pakistani professional league for men's football departments and clubs which are in the Pakistan football league system, and is the country's second-tier competition. Contested by 18 departments and clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the top-tier Pakistan Premier League.
