Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan

Kaohsiung City is a special municipality in southern Taiwan. It ranges from the coastal urban centre to the rural Yushan Range with an area of 2,952 km2 (1,140 sq mi). Kaohsiung City has a population of approximately 2.77 million people and is Taiwan's third most populous city and largest city in southern Taiwan.

The majority of these places and things are named after Chiang Chung-cheng, the preferred given name of Chiang Kai-shek. As a result, when translating into English or other non-Chinese languages, it sometimes would be replaced by "Chiang Kai-shek" instead of simply by transliteration.

Taoyuan, Taiwan Special municipality in Taiwan

Taoyuan is a special municipality in northwestern Taiwan, neighboring New Taipei City, Hsinchu County, and Yilan County. Taoyuan District is the seat of the municipal government and which, along with Zhongli District, forms a large metropolitan area. Taoyuan developed from a satellite city of Taipei metropolitan area to become the fourth-largest metropolitan area, and fifth-largest populated city in Taiwan. Since commuting to the Taipei metropolitan area is easy, Taoyuan has witnessed the fastest population growth of all cities in Taiwan in the past few decades.

Taipei American School is a non-profit private international school with an American-based curriculum located in Tianmu, Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. TAS serves students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. At the high school, students may choose from a range of courses including honors, AP, and IB courses that fulfill the full IB Diploma Program.

Linkou District District in New Taipei, Republic of China

Linkou District is a district in the northwestern part of New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. The name "Linkou" translates to "forest mouth"; in fact, for much of its history, Linkou remained a relatively rural and undeveloped district. This has recently begun to change: Since the latter half of the 2010s, Linkou has been undergoing a period of rapid population growth and land development relative to other nearby districts.

The American School in Taichung is an international school in Taichung, Taiwan offering grades one to twelve. The school, founded in 1989, was previously known as Lincoln American School. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and hosts the annual Taiwan Model United Nations (TAIMUN) conference, which is attended by schools from across Taiwan and Asia. One of the school's founders, Anna Lee, is a daughter of former President Lee Teng-hui. The school's current director is Dr. Colin Brown.

Taipei First Girls High School Public school

Taipei First Girls High School, is a Taiwanese all-girls senior high school, located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City. Accepting only the top scorers in the national Comprehensive Assessment Program for Junior High School Students, it is one of the most prestigious high schools in the country. TFG counts among its alumnae esteemed researchers, industry leaders, doctors, writers, and politicians. Its male counterpart is the Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School.

Hsinchu American School is private, international school with a largely based American curriculum located in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It was founded in 2004 by Glory Yeh, a Taiwanese real estate developer. HAS offers instruction in English for students grades 1-12. It is recognized by American Institute in Taiwan and the Taiwan Ministry of Education.
