Steven Gerald James Wright is an English serial killer, also known as the Suffolk Strangler. He is currently serving life imprisonment for the murder of five women who worked in Ipswich, Suffolk. The killings took place during the final months of 2006 and Wright was found guilty in February 2008 and given a whole life order.
The Gilgo Beach serial killings were a series of murders spanning from the early 1990s until 2011. Many of the victims' remains were found over a period of months in 2010 and 2011 during a police search of the area along Ocean Parkway, near the remote beach town of Gilgo in Suffolk County, New York. The search was prompted by the disappearance of Shannan Gilbert, who, like many of the known victims, worked as an escort and advertised on Craigslist. The perpetrator in the case is known as the Long Island Serial Killer, the Manorville Butcher, or the Craigslist Ripper.

Her body was found on 24 March near Uffington in Oxfordshire. On 19 October 2012, at Bristol Crown Court, 48-year-old Christopher Halliwell pleaded guilty to O'Callaghan's murder.
Muriel Freda McKay was an Australian woman who was kidnapped on 29 December 1969 in the United Kingdom and presumed murdered in the first few days of 1970. She was married to Alick McKay, an executive at News Limited and deputy to media proprietor Rupert Murdoch. McKay was kidnapped after being mistaken for Murdoch's then-wife, Anna Maria Murdoch. Two Indo-Trinidadian brothers, Arthur and Nizamodeen Hosein, were convicted of her murder and kidnapping in September 1970.
