Nguyễn Thị Thiên Thanh, better known by her stage name Tila Tequila, is an American television and social media personality. She has also used the names Tila Nguyen, Miss Tila and Tornado Thien. She first gained recognition for her active presence on social networking websites. After becoming the most popular person on Myspace, Tequila was offered the opportunity to star in her own reality television series. Her bisexuality-themed dating show, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila (2007), aired for two seasons and became MTV's second-highest-rated series premiere of that year.

A strip club is a venue where strippers provide adult entertainment, predominantly in the form of striptease or other erotic dances. Strip clubs typically adopt a nightclub or bar style, and can also adopt a theatre or cabaret-style. American-style strip clubs began to appear outside North America after World War II, arriving in Asia in the late 1980s and Europe in 1978, where they competed against the local English and French styles of striptease and erotic performances.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Pasties</span> Adhesive patches worn to cover the nipples and areolae

Pasties are patches that cover a person's nipples and areolae, typically self-adhesive or affixed with adhesive. They originated as part of burlesque shows, allowing dancers to perform fully topless without exposing the nipples in order to provide a commercial form of bare-breasted entertainment. Pasties are also, at times, used while sunbathing, worn by strippers and showgirls, or as a form of protest during women's rights events such as Go Topless Day. In some cases this is to avoid potential prosecution under indecency laws.

Magic Mike is a 2012 American comedy-drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, and Matthew McConaughey. The plot revolves around Adam, a 19-year-old who enters the world of male stripping, guided by Mike Lane, who has been in the business for six years.

Rose Evangeline Hovick was an American talent manager best known as the mother of two famous performing daughters: burlesque artist Gypsy Rose Lee and actress and dancer June Havoc. Her career as her daughters' manager is dramatized in the musical Gypsy.

Tatsumi Kumashiro was a Japanese film director known for his critically acclaimed, award-winning Roman Porno films, such as Ichijo's Wet Lust (1972) and The Woman with Red Hair (1979). He was the most highly acclaimed director of the early Nikkatsu Roman Porno era, with many box-office successes, and films regularly appearing on the yearly Best Ten lists of the mainstream Kinema Junpo and Eiga Geijutsu film journals. Kumashiro has been called, "the most consistently successful director in Japan's cinematic history," and Allmovie calls him, "arguably the most important Japanese director to emerge during the 1970s."

Monique Dupree, nicknamed "Tha True Original GATA", is an American actress, wrestling talent, singer, burlesque dancer, content creator and entrepreneur. As an actress, she is best known for her role as Emerald in Bachelor Party in the Bungalow of the Damned and as a shower girl in Return to Return to Nuke 'Em High AKA Volume 2. She is best known for her time as a wrestling talent/producer/social media manager for Tommy Dreamer's company, House of Hardcore. Dubbed "The Heart and Soul of House of Hardcore" for her hard work on camera and behind the scenes on numerous occasions via their Twitch stream by Dreamer, whom she also had a relationship with for an undetermined amount of years. She has also done appearances on Impact Wrestling.

Considered one of the best films in the series, in 1999 Japanese critics voted it one of the 100 best Japanese films of the 20th century.

<i>Magic Mikes Last Dance</i> 2023 American film by Steven Soderbergh

Magic Mike's Last Dance is a 2023 American comedy drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh, written by Reid Carolin, and produced by Channing Tatum. It is the third and final installment in the Magic Mike trilogy, following Magic Mike (2012) and Magic Mike XXL (2015). The film stars Tatum as the titular retired male stripper, who leaves Florida for London to help a socialite produce a stage play.
