The Venice Film Festival or Venice International Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Venice, Italy. It is the world's oldest film festival and one of the "Big Five" International film festivals worldwide, which include the Big Three European Film Festivals, alongside the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada and the Sundance Film Festival in the United States. These festivals are internationally renowned for giving creators the artistic freedom to express themselves through film. In 1951, FIAPF formally accredited the festival.
Louis Marie Malle was a French film director, screenwriter, and producer who worked in both French cinema and Hollywood. Described as "eclectic" and "a filmmaker difficult to pin down", Malle made documentaries, romances, period dramas, and thrillers. He often depicted provocative or controversial subject matter.
Jean-Jacques Annaud is a French film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed Quest for Fire (1981), The Name of the Rose (1986), The Bear (1988), The Lover (1992), Seven Years in Tibet (1997), Enemy at the Gates (2001), Black Gold (2011), and Wolf Totem (2015).
Anne Wood, CBE is an English children's television producer, responsible for creating shows such as Teletubbies with Andrew Davenport. She is also the creator of Tots TV and Rosie and Jim. She was a recipient of the Eleanor Farjeon Award.

Mohammad Ali Baig is an Indian theatre personality and film maker of ad and documentary films, referred to by the media as 'Global Face of Hyderabadi Theatre', 'Sultan of Epics' and 'Master of Revival'. He is the recipient of the Padmashri He founded the Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation in Hyderabad in 2005, as a tribute to his father, theatre legend late Qadir Ali Baig. In April 2014, he was awarded Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, in 2014 for his contributions in theatre arts.

He has won the Crystal Simorgh for Best First Director and Best First Film at the 33rd Fajr Film Festival and the FIPRESCI Award at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival for his feature directorial debut in drama film Wednesday, May 9 (2015). In 2017, he won The Orizzonti Award for Best Director at the 74th Venice International Film Festival for his second film, No Date, No Signature. His third film, Beyond the Wall (2022) competed for the Golden Lion at the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
The Venice TV Award is a television prize bestowed each year in September. Two weeks after the Venice International Film Festival, a team of jurors from around the world meet in Venice to select the winners of 19 categories. Prerequisite for a nomination is that the production was first broadcast on a television station. The exception is the New Talent category. This award also highlights that the TV industry is a $260 billion industry worldwide with around 38,500 TV channels in operation and is supported by egta, ACT and IMZ. This award brings national and international recognition for quality content.
