The Texas International Pop Festival was a music festival held at Lewisville, Texas, on Labor Day weekend, August 30 to September 1, 1969. It occurred two weeks after Woodstock. The Cloyce Box Ranch was the site of the original Southfork ranch location, where the initial five episodes of Dallas were filmed. The series left that location at the end of the first season in 1978 due to a request by the property owner, Cloyce K. Box. Beginning in 2014, Rawlings was featured in national television commercials promoting Dodge vehicles and financing.
OpTic Texas is an American professional Call of Duty League (CDL) esports team based in Dallas, Texas. OpTic Texas is owned by Envy Gaming. Dallas was announced as one of the first five cities to host a CDL team.
