List of tertiary institutions in Taraba State

Taraba is a state in the north east part of Nigeria with the slogan "Nature's Gift to the Nation". ^{[1] [2] [3]}

Many tertiary institutions of learning exist there.

Universities

There are three universities in Taraba state, one is owned by the state government, one by the federal government, and one is a private-owned university. ^{[4] [5]} The universities are:

• Federal University, Wukari ^[6]
• Taraba State University, Jalingo ^[7]
• Kwararafa University, Wukari ^[8]

Colleges in the state are:

• College of Education, Zing ^[9]
• Taraba State College of Agriculture, Jalingo ^[10]
• Taraba State College of Health Technology, Takum ^[11]
• Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Jalingo ^[12]
• Peacock College of Education, Jalingo ^[13]
• Muwanshat College of Health Science and Technology, Jalingo ^[14]
• College of Health Sciences and Technology, Mutum Biyu ^[15]
• De-Champions College of Health science and Technology, Lau.

Polytechnics

Taraba State has two polytechnics, ^[16] which are:
