Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, also referred to as Ivano-Frankivshchyna, is an oblast (region) in western Ukraine. Its administrative center is the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. As is the case with most other oblasts of Ukraine this region has the same name as its administrative center – which was renamed by the Soviet Ukrainian authorities after the Ukrainian writer Ivan Franko on 9 November 1962. It has a population of 1,351,822.
The Donetsk Oblast, also referred to as Donechchyna, is an oblast of eastern Ukraine. It is Ukraine's most populous province, with around 4.1 million residents. Its administrative centre is Donetsk; however, its Regional State Administration has been temporarily relocated to Kramatorsk because of the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war. Historically, the region has been an important part of the Donbas region. From its creation in 1938 until November 1961, it bore the name Stalino Oblast as Donetsk was then named "Stalino", in honour of Joseph Stalin. As part of the de-Stalinization process, it was renamed after the Siversky Donets river, the main artery of Eastern Ukraine. Its population is estimated as 4,100,280
Ternopil Oblast is an oblast (province) of Ukraine. Its administrative center is Ternopil, through which flows the Seret, a tributary of the Dniester. Population: 1,030,562.

Bilshivtsi is an urban-type settlement in Ivano-Frankivsk Raion in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Between 1940 and 1963 it was the center of a raion. Bilshivtsi hosts the administration of Bilshivtsi settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Its population was 1,843 .
Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine are areas of Ukraine that are currently de facto controlled by the Russian government in the course of the Russo-Ukrainian war. In Ukrainian law, they are defined as the "temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine". Ukrainian law made no distinction between Russian and "pro-Russian" administrations before the Russian government claimed to "annex" them in September 2022.
Sievierodonetsk Raion is a raion (district) of Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine. It was created in July 2020 as part of the reform of administrative divisions of Ukraine. The center of the raion is the city of Sievierodonetsk. Population: 369,421.
Mykolaivka is an urban-type settlement in Dnipro Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is located on the right bank of the Dnieper, across from the city of Kamianske. Mykolaivka belongs to Obukhivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. It has a population of 1,132
