Beijing, as the capital and one of the four municipalities of the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a transport hub, with a sophisticated network of roads, railways and two major airports. Five completed ring roads encircle the city with nine expressways heading in virtually all compass directions, supplemented by eleven China National Highways.
Fengtai District is a district of the city of Beijing. It lies mostly to the southwest of the city center, extending into the city's southwestern suburbs beyond the Sixth Ring Road, but also to the south and, to a smaller extent, the southeast, where it has borders with Chaoyang and Dongcheng.
Tongzhou is a district of Beijing. It is located in southeast Beijing and considered the eastern gateway to the nation's capital. Downtown Tongzhou itself lies around 20 km (12 mi) east of central Beijing, at the northern end of the Grand Canal and at the easternmost end of Chang'an Avenue. The entire district covers an area of 906 km2 (350 sq mi), or 6% of Beijing's total area. It had a population of 673,952 at the 2000 Census, and has seen significant growth and development since then, growing to a population of 1,184,000 at the 2010 Census and 1,840,295 at the 2020 census. The district is subdivided into four subdistricts, ten towns, and one ethnic township.
Daxing District is a district of Beijing, covering the southern suburbs of the city. It borders the Beijing districts of Tongzhou to the east/northeast, Fangshan to the west, Fengtai to the northwest, Chaoyang to the northeast, and the Hebei province to the south.
Capital Normal University is a municipal public university in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the City of Beijing and co-funded by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Education. The university is part of the Double First-Class Construction.

The Yizhuang Line of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line that connects the Yizhuang Development Area with Beijing's subway network. The line is 23.23 km (14.43 mi) long with 14 stations, including six underground and eight elevated. It runs from Songjiazhuang in Fengtai District to Yizhuang Railway Station in Tongzhou District and passes through the southern Chaoyang and northern Daxing Districts. Total investment for the line was estimated at ¥1.2 billion. Construction began on December 8, 2007 and the line opened on December 30, 2010. Yizhuang line's color is magenta.

Yizhuang T1 Line is a 13.255 km (8.2 mi) tram line with 15 stations. It is part of the Beijing Subway system. It runs from Quzhuang station in Daxing District to Dinghaiyuan station in Tongzhou District. The line opened on December 31, 2020. Laoguanli station will open in 2024.
Yuqiao Subdistrict is a subdistrict located on northern part of Tongzhou District, Beijing. It borders Zhongcang and Tongyun Subdistricts to its north, Yongshun Town to its east, Zhangjiawan Town to its southeast, Liyuan Town to its southwest, and Beiyuan Subdistrict to its northwest. The population of the subdistrict was 115,813 as of the 2020 census.
